Comments: Good Evening from GREECE Mr Garfunkel!!!!!!!!!!! How are you doing???? It has been such a long time since you have been in Greece! Do you remember your last concert here, up in the rocky mountain? I do!! It was very touching and i keep the program safe in my closet. I am 29 years old and i listen to your music since i was 17:) I started by listening to both of you,Simon&Garfunkel that is, and then i started bying your solos too. But the last years i have noticed that in Greece there aren't many new cds coming out. Why? We are looking forward to listening to new songs by your tender voice. You sing with your heart and that's what makes you so special and so familiar to every soul who needs a minute of peace. Please come to Greece again!!! I hope that you and your family are in perfect health. With Love and Respect, Georgia from Athens
Comments: Hello Art, I have attended your concerts here in Mpls. the last couple of years, AWESOME!! you should make a live CD, just awesome!! Really love the NYC tour on the website, really a pleasure to watch .... Thanks to all involved in making it..
Comments: I just want him to know that as an Iranian young girl how much he filled my days with him music. We had no other means of entertainment and it was important to find something you liked. He brightened my memories of youth by his beautiful voice and talent. Thank you sir Art Garfunkel. I am calling him Sir, because he is respected by me and at least he is not a big head self centered talent like some others. You are a beautiful human.
Comments: No age is too young to become enamored with the music of Art Garfunkel. As a 17 year old who ponders the possibilities of life, there has been no greater source of inspiration than Art and Paul. For this, I offer my thanks.
Comments: I have spent my entire childhood listening to simon and garfunkel. The songs tell a story and are very relaxing. I got a 5 CD box set of all their albums from Chicago. Art and Paul, please make a trip to India. There is a large fan base here too.
Comments: I grown up with the music of Simon & Garfunkel. Art's voice is simply unique. And still, after all these years, sounds great. I once met him by accident, and he's a real "down to earth" person. [View Entry]
Comments: My daughter and son-in-law just gave a tickets for the Providence show. The days can neither go too fast or too slow! Last time I saw Art was at Symphony Hall in Boston; sprung for a floor seat. Real Music ended with the break-up of Art and Paul.
Comments: Keep on singin' Art!! When will perform again in Belgium? Peace, Ludo Belgium
Comments: Art Garfunkel I don’t know if we have souls But imagine we do Then play Garfunkel singing “I only have eyes for you” His voice Like clouds Angelic Will stroke your soul like Warm, amber honey Unguent, glowing Anointing Gently inflaming Like seeping perfume Or Like Amber again On shallow pools at the seaside Rippling and reflecting sunset. Perhaps he sat looking at East River Or the Brooklyn Bridge Maybe the Statue of Liberty melted And lowered her gaze Looking out towards the Atlantic Graciously welcoming a breeze That resembled his voice The fiery glow of neon And the wandering pathways of Central Park The austere gothic skyscrapers Measuring miles in the sky And the steaming subway manholes Belching out citizens Into orphaned streets The butterfly buzz in the atmosphere After a baseball bat swings And touches the electric crackle Of glistening Times Square All melting into your coffee cup Gulped gently Sipped slowly Smoothening the crevices of your soul As the song (timing it’s seconds out) Comes to a slow stop Leaving on your tongue The aftertaste of heaven
Comments: Always have and always will love the voice of Art , brilliant is the one word I can describe him with , just heard him singing the Dire Straits song why worry and I have to say he is the best. I so much would love to see him live , pity there is no planned concert near me in the near future .
Comments: 'DISNEY GIRLS' is our song. When I first met my husband he traveled to Alaska. When he heard this song he called me and told me to get this cassette and listen to this song. He said it reminded him of me. We have attended your concerts 3 times and pray that you sing this song. The last time we saw you in Rancho Cucamonga about a year ago, I vowed I would e-mail you and request this song. We plan to purchase tickets to see you again in January. I hope you read this and sing Disney Girls for us. With much respect, Mrs. Ginnie Boetel [View Entry]
Comments: In the late 50s or early 60s, Dick Rosmini introduced me to 2 young men that had recorded under the name "Art And Paul". I'm wondering if they later became Simon & Garfunkel. The songs they recorded were: Devilish Mary, Kilgary Mountain, Biggest Thing Man Has Ever Done, King Uzziah, Lace Maker, Moonshiner, My Favorite Things, Song Of Time, The Cruel War, Girl In The Wood, The Hangman & Tres Moricas. Clyde (Lucky) Rice
Comments: Hi Art, I had Bridge over troubled water on repeat in my car driving to and from work today. That must go down as one of the all time vocal masterpieces. Love it. Hope you are well. Aileen Sutcliffe, Qld. Australia. [View Entry]

Comments: Hello! I've just spent a most lovely afternoon/evening listening repeatedly to Wendesday Morning 3 a.m. and Bookends cds plus that one of your solo albums which carry your name... Hearing your beautiful singing and harmonizing means a world to me - so thank you for all that! It makes me feel alive and soothes in home-sickness. I'm hoping to see you one day on a tour - maybe even in Scandinavia. Greetings from Finland, Tuija
Comments: I had the pleasure of attend a your show only once (Odense, October 2008).Wonderful !!!!!!! I live in Italy, therefore I have not had the opportunity to see the shows S & G in Australia and Japan. I know your music only some years even if the melody of Sounds of silence, El condor pasa,What a wonderful world , I Shall Sing and other they were part of soundtrack of my life. But with Internet and Youtube I could see your and Paul's face , know your history and fall in love of your music (and you) . Thank you for the wonderful music that you have given... but you come in Europe, soon, please with all my heart.
Comments: Art! you only have concerts in the U.S and Canada! Please come too Europe or better up Sweden! Hugs [View Entry]
Comments: Hi Art I'm 25 years old... my dad had "homeward bound" on a cassette mix tape that used to play on the long scenic drive home from school. He loved Simon and Garfunkel... I do too. I've listened to your solo work on myspace, and it's beautiful. It's pretty rare when I find an artist who consistently creates songs that touch my soul... but you have it. Thanks
Comments: Just wanted to thank you for the great music over the years. The songs always take me back in time and make me laugh or cry, from good memories and bad. "All I Know" - that one gets me everytime I listen to it. But it's such a lovely song I can't keep from playing it now and then. Peace

Comments: Hi I think it´s extremely sad that Universal has decided to stop a play from Latvia to be shown in Stockholm. The play includes songs by Simon & Garfunkel and has been shown in several different cities i Europe. The theater in Stockholm, Stockholms stadsteater, is a non-profit theater. I´m a big fan of Simon & Garfunkel and I think this i very sad. Best regards, Lotta Edholm Vice mayor of Stockholm Group leader of the Liberal Party in Stockholm
Comments: I am now 56 yrs old and I have been listening to Art Garfunkel since I was old enough to head to a record store. Your voice is a musical instrument in itself, and I literally listen to your songs on a daily basis! I have been to mostly all of your concerts..wherever they may be in the continental U.S. and I was absolutely THRILLED when you and Paul got back together for you last tour! It was spectacular!!! Do you have a schedule of appearances for 2010?
Comments: My God, thank you. Thank you for the brilliance you have added to the music world. I *love* you. I may only be twelve, but I know your voice when I hear it. It's locked in my head.. Just like.. the sound of silence. Once again, thank you. Hannah.
Comments: While my children were growing up, I always played Angel Clare, while we were driving in the car. To this day, my girls, all in their 20's know all the lyrics to every song. It has always been one of my favorites. I have the album, cassette and CD. My four daughters favorite...Another Lullaby..was what I sang to them each night. I have bought each of them a CD of Angel Clare, which I will give them when they have children. I am hopeful to see you in concert in 2010, unfortunately, there are no local dates for 2009. I did see you in person at Epcot, several years ago, for the Christmas concert..you did a reading and my daughters were in the choir. I was thrilled!!
Comments: "Been an Art Garfunkel for a very long time." My good friend and longtime lover the former Mrs.Omar and myself, are in the field of Health Care. I am a "caregiver", and Diane is a Governess. We've worked together before-hopefully not for the last time. Everytime we get off work, we always listen to an Art Garfunkel song.
Comments: Art, when are you coming back to the UK?
Comments: You are an inspiration in many ways. Hopefully one day I will find you on Twitter and continue to hear of your life's journeys. Best regards, and God bless you.
Comments: Well, hello old friend... I happened to catch you on my local PBS station after returning from a concert with Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp and Bob Dylan. Not a bad night... Looking at your albums, I was reminded of an idea I had for you years ago. Willie did a tribute album of Lefty Frizzell songs titled, "To Lefty from Willie". I thought you might do an album of Willie's tunes called, "From Lefty to Willie". "Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground" would be so beautiful sung by you. He has many songs that would seem to suit your voice. Just a thought. I hope this finds you healthy and happy! Warmest Wishes, Donna
Comments: Dear Art, I have never seen you in person, only on PBS broadcasts of "Simon & Garfunkel". I have always loved your performances, and in fact have felt a physical attraction to you. Nothing wrong with that. You're a guy, I'm a gal (77, but young at heart). The only problem all these years is that you also physically reminded me of my son! Very confusing... Well, I have just seen a PBS broadcast of the Gershwin Award to Paul Simon. Hey, you're old enough now that you don't remind me of my son anymore! Yeah! I don't feel guilty anymore! Welcome to old age, your loving fan, Martha |
