Do you play Chess? If yes, at what age did you learn? No, I personally don't play but my two sons do play Is Chess exciting, boring or some other word? The boys are very excited about playing chess How did you hear about DCCC? Through the Chess team at my son's school Comments: Chess has become a daily/evening routine at my home, the boys are always challenging each other or anyone who want's to play a game of "Chess". Chess has really helped my son's in developing strategic management in their day to day work at school they continue to strentghen their thinking and their decision making skills all through a game of CHESS.

He was my 7th grade math teacher and he was just wonderful. I was wondering is he still affiliated with this chess site. If yes, at what age did you learn? yes,started in 1975 by a friend at the age of 21 Is Chess exciting, boring or some other word? chess is wonderful How did you hear about DCCC? internet Comments: I had the pleasure to play and learn from Lennen "Binky" James.jr, Booker Thomas,Dwayne Riggins and NM John Brooks while i was in detroit.Some of the guy's still hang out at Hart Plaza downtown during the holidays to play and i really miss playing in detroit and my game has gotten sharper since then.If anyone is reading this note and if you know any of these guy's that i have mentioned have them to email me ASAP at carlsmith07542@yahoo.com and let me know how they are doing,ok? I really need to know and thank you very much because the club is doing a good thing in the Motor City.Right now i'm working on the "Budapest Gambit" and the ever complicated "Queen's Gambit Accepted and Decline and the Defence for them both which is teaching me to look over the board for the correct line to play.The book i started learning from is called "Chess Made Simple" by zondervan publications and it's for every player who's learning or forgot the basic fundamentals of the game,so keep in touch with me and "Keep On Pushing"!!!

Member Comments: I really think that all students who are currently attending elementary, middle, and high school should invest their time into playing chess. Chess is a thinking game that helps to develop student's minds. Kids are able to think quicker and accurately at the same time. Studies have also proven that playing chess has allowed children to receive good grades in school!!! People of all ages should play the game!!! |
