hi andrew
you probably won't remember me, a canadian woman who contacted you about your camel trips. (i met you on a sunset tour near kings canyon.)   but rereading the tanami book and revisiting your website is wonderful when it is -30 C here in northern canada.  probably no threat of frostbite on your trips, eh?
is the drought and fire situation a hazard to your camels and your business?  we see scenes of firefighters and blazes in s. e. oz.  hope all is well.             mary

Hi Andy
I really enjoyed your journal. It's nice to know that there are still some adventurer's out there. You are definitely one of them.
I recently had a taste of the Outback down Marree way. Loved it! Wouldn't want to do what you did though, not at my age.
Please don't be so modest, if all you did was walk, everyone else would be doing it. What happened to the pooch, and the camels?

Hi Andrew
Had a lot of fun trying to find your plate on the Hay river this September (07). Found it eventually.
Incredible journey

G'Day Andrew,

I travelled 4000kms (by plane) before I learnt of your journey, which is a shame because you only live about 50kms from where I grew up in Tocumwal, NSW and I would have loved to pick your brain about your journey.

I'm presently planning a similar journey from Perth to Melbourne - let's see how that turns out eh?

You mentioned having gone by 'Old Jigalong' and seeing what would have been the outpost of the rabbit-proof fence workers.
Would anyone be able to describe the location of 'Old Jigalong' in relation to the present community of Jigalong; ie. approximate number of miles from Jigalong and in which direction.
I would be most appreciative.
