Tony listened and reacted to our opinions, refining our schedule to best serve our collective interests. Nothing was eliminated from the Itinerary; but, several added moments of serendipity greatly enhanced our overall experience. The local Guides were outstanding and very informative. It's rare to get more value than you expect but, Alpventures delivers that level of excellence. I plan to travel with them frequently in the future."

"Two years, two very different trips, two sides of a historic war. Last year we joined you for the Secrets of the Third Reich tour and learned about the Nazi regime and Hitler’s rise to power. This year, we had the privilege of joining the D-Day and Battle of the Bulge Tour where we stood on the beaches of Normandy,toured the battlefields of Belgium in halftracks, and stood in foxholes in the forest near Foy. Once again, you have surpassed our expectations!! Your personal attention to detail along with your enthusiasm, research and knowledge of military history has given us an unforgettable vacation, as well as an indelible insight to the sacrifices made for liberty. I’ll say it again – You’ll never get the same memories, experiences and opportunities with a large tour group, it’s too impersonal. Thanks for the memories and always keep Didi close by (whataguy)!!"

"Tony's WWII Tour last summer was a very informative and well planned Tour which I will remember and cherish forever! This was a chance to see my youngest son "in action" conducting one of his best Alpventures Tours. I thought the hotel accomodations, meals, and Tour bus were excellent and enjoyed his comments along the way which kept us informed on the many historical sites and places we visited. His choice of Tour bus driver, Dedi, was excellent and they make a great team! Despite the tragic events of 11 Sep 2001, Tony kept the tour on track and showed professionalism in his role of Tour Director, guide, and friend to everyone on the Tour. I was pleased in the favorable comments I received from a WWII Veteran on the Tour who shared his positive comments on Tony's vast knowledge of WWII events and sites in Europe. I am planning on attending his Amsterdam to the Alps in Oct along with the World Cup in 2006!!!Go ALPVENTURES!!"
