Comments: Amy, What a wonderful presentation at the Christian Women's Retreat at Bishop Lane this past weekend. Your presentation on Martha & Mary was terrific and very eye opening. It was a very poignant moment when you talked about using prayer while doing the dishes. I have always used my dish washing time as a complaining time. Oh, if my window could speak  Thank you for spending time with us and sharing your personal stories. You are proof that we should not judge by what is on the outside. We never know where another person's shoes have been. I intend to purchase your book The Mass as I think it will really help with my 5 year old...not to mention myself. Thanks again Amy. Godspeed! I'm looking forward to achieving some Mary moments in the midst of accomplishing (or at least attempting) Martha's daily tasks. I'm hoping to take these M&M moments to work with me as well. Comments: Amy: I read your article, "Initiation: Job One" in the September 2005 issue of the electronic newsletter "Parish Life" Celebration Series. I was immediately curious about your 3 piece cross which you described in that article and hoped to find a photo of it or a photo of you wearing it. I live in Vermont now but have worked and lived in Illinois. I worked for a time at the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois in Barrington and Woodstock.
