Hi .. my name is Shirley .. I have had tn since 2-05.. first real bad and then I started accupuncture and homeopathic treatments.. it helped.. was able to get off my nerve medicine. just last month 7-08 I have had a real bad flare up.. severe pain in left side of face.. bolting and hot striking pain .. never know when it will flare up.. have tried vitamins and everything but have to start back on Lyrcia today.. My dr. wants me to consider gamma knife surgery.. has anyone had or know about that surgery please post it on this website or e-mail me..
Prayer ... I have been praying but maybe have not turned myself over completely to God..
any help or insight would be greatly apprecaited.

I have fibromyalgia. Since I was a child, sometimes when I turn my head quickly, I get a burning stab of pain in the back of the neck. Does anyone else get these pains? I don't know if this is my fibro or what.

I have had Trigeminal Neuralgia for 27 years. I was misdiagnosed with TMJ. Even though I have TMJ, it was not my main problem and I have lived with severe pain in my right jaw off and on for years. I know that chiropractic care has helped for years and it does flare up from time to time when I neglect going to the chiropractor and recently, I was unable to get to the chiroprator and it flared up the worst yet in 27 years and not only that but not only does it hurt in my right jaw but now I have pain just above my right eyebrow. I am on Tegratol but it is only making it barely bearable and I have a new chiropractor who is helping me to get started on a healthy diet and vitamins. He says it is related to MS and he says he can help me. I have to get off sugar and that is extremely hard but I am determined to do all he says. He is gradually adding things I need to change. I need prayer to endure and to be healed of this horrible disease. It has really drained us both financially and emotionally

I'm 75, live in trailer with 2 dogs they are "American Eskimo's" some call the "Spitz" They have a nick name "Eskies" I have them now 14 yrs, there names are "Samson and Delilah. Also have a cat which God must of sent, for I never really wanted a cat, have her 4 yrs.
I live alone in Alabama, I am now an adopted Cherokee, which I am very happy and proud to be. Due to my age and Beard they call me "Grizzly"

Do you have a prayer request? Yes, Wisdom as to the next step, everyone has given up and I have to go out of state.
Is there a concern you want to share? Yes, I am afraid of what lies ahead.
Would you like to share your goal(s)? I am but ash and I do not know what my goals are anymore, just to get out of pain.

Dear Kathy and everyone.
I pray this will be a place, an oasis where miracles can happen for us all. I read your book Kathy, and I feel like it is a spring of hope. Daily the pain is there and despite morphine 24/7 nothing helps. I am fearful of what I am going to go through in Sept. I see a new dr in MA and We have no $ and No promises. I prayed hard and asked the Lord to SHUT or OPEN This door so I would know His Will and though they had not contacted me for over 2 weeks before that prayer, In less than 15 hours AFTER that prayer I got an appointment.
The worst part is losing your identity because of pain. I don't know WHO i really am, I feel like all I am is pills and pain and weeping. I cry so much, I feel like there is nothing left of me, I want the Lord to use me but How can HE use ash?
Thank you for this place where we drink of the Spring of LIFE of GOD together and Have HOPE together. My favorite word in the whole world is HOPE, and My life scriptures are Isaiah 54 and "I shall Live and Not die but PROCLAIM the Works of the LORD".
My hope is that I can find ME here, not the pain ME but the REAL ME as the LORD intended me to be.
I hope we can all help each other to LIVE and find out the wonderous PLAN to LIVE that God MUST have for us.
