Thankful for being able to be part of this wonderful University, past, present and future. My whole family is All About The U and with that and the many life long friends developed through this connection make me feel very blessed.

I am thankful to God for life. For the education that UM provided me. For the years I had Aunt Pearl and all the goodness she instilled in me. She passed away November 5th of this year. Always in my thoughts and forever in my heart.

I cooked Thanksgiving dinner and delivered it to a family of five. That was the highlight of my day yesterday.

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for the amazing gift of my son, Matt, and his wonderful wife, Elisabeth. Their sons, Graham and Rhys, are the rays of sunshine.

Perhaps someday, one of the boys will continue the legacy at UM and be the third generation to attend. One thing is certain. The boys will be taught to root for the Hurricanes.

I am thankful to God for my two sons and my two grandchildren, for being healthy and for my two sons and grandchildren being healthy. I am also thankful for the years I studied at the University of Miami and for graduating from this wonderful school.

I am thankful for my family, for wonderful friends, for my country, and for having a job on which I every day I get to help others! University of Miami was an important part of that. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
