Comments: Hi, my name is Mitchell Errebo, I was a first cousin of Butch Kobbeman's. I saw his name another website's roster spelled "Butch Kobberman". It was spelled "Kobberman" but I assume it was spelled wrong. I know he served in the Tiger Force in 67'-68' but know really nothing else. He passed away in 1990. If you can give any insight of your service with him it would be much appreciated. I am from Lincoln, Kansas where Butch grew up. Thanks Mitchell Errebo
Comments: Someone is gathering info on Sgt.Christian Girard "Frenchy" to publish a story about his life and military service. He was a TF team leader in 66 and was KIA in Cambodia 8Apr69 while with SOG. Please contact me if you served with him so I can put you in touch with the author. My e-mail is tuyho1@yahoo.com and phone is 478-477-9040.
Comments: Great site, gentlemen. Thank you for your efforts to record and preserve the sacrifices all of you made during the war. I was a USAF based in Hue '68-'69 and spent a lot of time over the A Shau Valley http://www.cc.gatech.edu/~tpilsch/AirOps/AShau.html One correction to the C, 1327, Veghel site: The first photo of the A Shau Valley from Eagle's Nest says the airfield is A Shau. In fact that is A Luoi, further north up the valley from the A Shau SF camp. There was a SF camp there for a short time in '65 but was closed about three months before the A Shau camp fell. Welcome home!
