How did you find us? goofing off on the internet
Comments: Just found your site today at lunch. Profoundly moved by the sermon of your Metropolitan Jonah, on the future of the OCA in America. I've been moved by his words in the past.
I've been an Orthodox (convert) for over 25 years, and have recently moved from the old calendar tradition into a more mainstream Orthodox jurisdiction. The past two years have been a period of upheaval and change, most of it very positive; and your Primate's words are always a source of inspiration to me.
Pass this on to him, will you? Tell him he's been of great encouragement to me.
As are all of you! Greetings, with love in Christ,
Eugene

Comments: THANK YOU so much for the link to the webpage by one of your parishioners, about Orthodoxy and animals! I have been an animal activist and rescuer for many years, and right now I volunteer for a pet rat rescue. We rescue pet rats that have been neglected, abused, raised as snake food, etc and give them a hope and a future.
I became interested in Orthodoxy some time ago, but I was held back in my mind by one thing: I had been taught that the RCC is the one, true church...yet they have historically not been very kind in what they teach about animals. It was learning how much the views of Orthodoxy on animals fits with my own views in light of Romans 8, that I now see what the true faith is! No faith can be true that does not love all of God's Creation!
