Comments: Our family vacation in Northern Michigan my favorite week of the year. After YEARS of searching for a big enough place for our annual family reunion, we finally found one that fit our needs -- and it's gorgeous! We've been to both Northport Bay and Spider Lake. I like each, for different reasons. Spider Lake has the super accessible gentle beach. Northport has the bigger water, the hot hub and nearby artsy communities. Both provide a great blend of family/community areas and private rooms. Hard to choose, but you can't go wrong!
