What a terrific and heartwarming story. I enjoy reading these stories and experiences about adoption in China. I've been to China seven times, although not to adopt...and as I read your stories I relive the feeling of being there.
Someday perhaps your new daughter will write about her experiences growing up, as an ordinary American, and although she probably won't remember China, she will have your photos and words to remember it through your eyes!

Hi Tricia,
I'm the "crazy Lady" you met online in Epcot! The one who "spotted you" from your blog!! I was looking at the sites of the families who are in China as I do every couple of days. I have always enjoyed reading other people's stories throughout my own adoption process and with our own journey to China in the next couple of months I enjoy it even more! We are adopting a SN boy who is hearing impaired and is 2 1/2 years old. Hopefully China will finally issue our LSC soon---it's been 76 days so we're getting close! Anyway, it was very nice to see Sophia in person. She's just as beautiful as she is on your blog! Hope I didn't scare you by coming up to you. I'm sure you were surprised! My husband was just shaking his head when I went back by him. It was the second really weird thing that happened to me that day!

Hi to the Hosterts,
Great write up on what has been happening in the Hosterts' life. Glad to hear you had a wonderful time at Disney World. Too bad Erik had to work. Your Mom told me a lot about your trip. I love the pictures and love hearing what the Little Prince and Little Princess have been up to. Sounds like they are both doing very well. Glad Graham is walking on his own and that Sophia gives him a lot of TLC. That is the best!! Not sure if I can make Thanksgiving this year!!! I will miss seeing you all if I don't come. Hope we can all go shopping some time before Christmas like to Lancaster perhaps!!!

Hey Tricia! Just got your email and that made us feel so much better. Molly does play with Rob but does not want to be held by him so it is has been hard. Your email really gave us hope!!! We will try this trick at the White Swan. We are heading there tonight. Only four more nights and we get to go home. I am soooo ready! Although I realize this time with Molly is so precious.
Sophia is to die for! I just want to squish her!!! So cute!
