Hello to my friends from SOC, it has been a long time since I talked to a fellow classmate.
My wife, Joann and I live in Maryland in the Washington DC metro-plex, I work for the Department of Energy and plan to retire in 2016. I have retired from the Army with 34 years of service too.
We have four great kids (all married), and five grandchildren ( the center of the universe).
All is well and life is good, so again...hello to my SOC/Boude Storey/Clara Oliver classmates.
JR McCulloch
[JR was a nickname given to me by Lance and Vance Adams]

I have been trying to locate a family by the name of Mullens for a long time. I have an album Red Mullens and his daughter Donna Mullens recorded and it means so much to me that I would love to tell Donna. I don't have any idea if Donna was in this class or not but I remember she was 3-4 years younger than me so I thought I would just throw it out there and see if anyone remembers this family. They lived on Utah Street. If you know anything about Donna Mullens or her family, please get on the SOC 64 website and let me know or send me an email. Thanks for letting me visit. SF

Comments: Heads up please. I don't think I have posted this here before, but if I have, please forgive me. I am currently working on a Deb History project. I have managed to acquire info from the very beginning through 1962. I have communicated with a couple of folks from the 63/forward group, but have nothing to include from those years. I plan to see Miss Thomas soon and would love to have as much as possible to share with her. I will share it all with everyone when it is complete. If you have yearbooks with photos/names of Debs for the years '63-67, please send them to me via email as soon as possible. That's ASAP! Thank you so much for any and all efforts to help with this! Have a beautiful day!

Sorry, I need to correct the DOB month for Jackie Thomas. His sister was distraught when she said March, she really meant to say Sept. His BD was Sept 1949.

Here's the ending to the mystery of a SOC classmate who recently passed away & none of the classes seemed to know him. Jackie Thomas Jr. was born in March 1949 & graduated in '67 from SOC. He was drafted into the Army in '68. Unfortunately he was exposed to Agent Orange while in Vietnam & died a few days ago due to the many complications brought on by A. O. He was only 61. May he Rest in Peace.

Here's the latest in the unsolved mystery of Jack "Jackie" Thomas Jr. from SOC. I have confirmed he was born in 49. Also that his dad, Jack Thomas Sr. owned the Feed Store in Duncanville & Jackie was the mgr. Perhaps those who thought he was much older saw the dad at the store. Also he may have not actually walked across the stage with his class as he joined the Army & may have left early as some of our guys did. I feel very certain he would have been in the the 67 or 68 class! PLEASE pass the name around to classmates & see if anyone can remember Jack, he mostly went by Jackie. He was a quiet guy so maybe he flew under the radar at sch & didn't hve his pic in Den. Thank you for any help you may give!!

I saw in the obits tda that a "Jack Marvin Thomas Jr." passed away. Said he was a graduate of SOC, no yr. Didn't give a DOB either, but said he served in Viet Nam & death was due to complications from exposure to Agent Orange. I got a DOB from other source & it was 9-4-49. That would have made him a 68 grad! Does anyone remember him? It's always sad when a SOC grad from any yr dies. You can always find or reach me at my own class website. http://www.soc1966.com I am the webmistress & we have a GB.
