Comments: Just 31 days and we will be headed south. We can't wait. This will be our first time to Florida since retiring. The weather here is just nasty cold and snow here in the middle of the mitten (Sheridan MI). We are so looking forward to spending a couple of months and can't wait to meet new friends. Sounds like you all have a very good time there.
Comments: Hi Everyone. You lucky guys that are already at Shady Acres, you don't know what you're missing by not being here in the snowy north. (Bracebridge, Ontario Canada) We just had 39" of snow fall in the last 3 days. Town has been virtually closed for the last 2 days. George is out shoveling it off the roof of the trailer right now. Needless to say, we can hardly wait to get down south. We are so looking forward to seeing everyone for another fun winter at Shady Acres. Everyone drive carefully.

Comments: We plan to come to Shady Acres RV park on Jan. l, 2010 and stay several days. This will be our first trip to Florida in January and our first RV trip ever!! We are really looking forward to meeting all you nice folks. GOD BLESS> Nell Bruce
Comments: Greetings to all our Shady Acres friends, We have had a poor summer with lots of rain and clouds. I miss the sun!The temperature is in the low 30's and it looks like snow. Burr! Today is Canada's Thanksgiving and am I ever thankful that I can return to the warm south again this winter. In just a few short weeks we will be there for December 1st! Looking forward to Christmas with you all again. Hope you are all well and thriving. God Bless and see you soon.

Comments: Carey, You did an excellent job during the 2008-09 winter season for all of us snowbirds. Your newsletter for the upcoming season was very informative, thanks for the updates. We visited the website getting homesick for our winter season fun to begin, seeing old friends and hopefully making some new ones. We had a fun filled wonderful time last year, there was so much to do and if you didn't have as much fun as we did try harder it will only enrich your stay at Shady Acres and bring laughter into each day.  |
