Comments: Dear Paul, Thanks for the great show last weekend at Jackpot!! I was so happy to see you and your band...especially since my son left the day before to Iraq for the second time...you were there for Thanksgiving 2004 when he left with the 116th from Boise, and there again when they all returned in 2005. They really could feel your love and support. I hope you like the quilt I made for you...I will continue to sew RED, WHITE and BLUE until Jesse comes home again. I love finding veterans and wounded soldiers to give my quilts to. If you have anyone you want me to make one for, just let me know. I sent 24 quilts to Walter Reed Medical Center last October...I tried to email my pictures, but I am having trouble...so I will just send them to your PO Box...Thanks again for you kindness! Love, Christie Claus, Boise ID [View Entry]

Comments: Want to let you guys know that everything you do is greatly appreciated. When I came home Oct. '67, I was like so many others, a lost soul with no direction. The only reason I went to VFW's in those days was to drink my memories away. After about 15 years of that I got my act together and now after more than 20 years of sobriety, I do what I can for past, present and future vets. Especially the WWII vets who are rapidly dwindling in number. Had it not been for their sacrifices we may not have had any vets after WWII. Our way of life would not even exist. I salute each and every one of them. I'm proud to be a Marine Corp vet as was my father (Saipan & Tinian - 1941-45) and my brother (Vietnam-1970-71), and proud of every man and woman who ever put on a uniform for you are truly the keepers of the gate. I really enjoyed meeting up with you guys in Branson for the opening of the Dick Clark Theater and on the Oldies Cruise in '07. I only wish I could have made it again this year. I only go on the years the Comets are there. It's family you know? I will see you in Branson this spring or summer though at the Moon River Theater. Enjoyed the Thanksgiving DVD so much that I ordered more for some fellow vets. I sure hope you do more of them. Hopefully it will be for returning troops and their families this time. And I'd like to know when the next Ride to The Wall is scheduled. Although I haven't had a bike in years, I want to make the trip at least once before I'm too damn old. I'll rent a bike or borrow one from my cousin. He has about 5 or 6 Harley's. Bless you all for everything that you've done. Semper Fi Bill Kelly - USMC 1st Marine Div. Vietnam 1966-67
Comments: Thanks for all you do and I hope to make the ride to the wall next time out. God Bless! To Those Who Wear The Uniform To Protect America Please know that I watch with sincere admiration as you go into battle….I am with you in spirit, as you strive to do this Great Nation’s work….I listen and echo your prayers during difficult times….I choke back a lump as you see your brother-in-arms fall to the ground, yet you march on with even more determination than ever before….I weep when I see you hug the son of the fallen and do your best to see that he knows of his fathers' heroism….And my chest swells with pride as I see a tear in your eye when you salute Old Glory….I know then that I have not been forgotten. Your Brother-In-Arms, Ghost Of A Fallen Soldier Author - Jeff Chandler - Disabled American Veteran
Comments: I am a two tour Viet Nam Veteran and proud of it.............I saw Paul Revere in Branson several weeks ago, and was impressed by the Ride to the Wall Foundation......I just ordered the DVD, as my sister in law bought one and I was really bowled over by it......... thank you for all that you do............
Comments: THANK YOU I WAS NOT AWARE OF THE WORK YOUR GROUP DOES.. I TOO HAVE FAMILY ON THE WALL, AND FAMILY STILL MISSING IN NAM. I WILL NEVER QUIT LOOKING... THANK YOU FOR A JOB WELL DONE. ALL GAVE SOME,, SOME GAVE ALL
Comments: I just took my grandson to see your show last Wed. night. He loved it and so did I. Needless to say I didn't leave without buying your CD's for him or his picture with you. I have seen your show 3 times in the last 2 years. You always give a great tribute to the US Vets. We are having the wall coming to our hometown (Marked Tree, AR) Sept. 25th thur 28th. Charlie Company will be here Friday the 25th. It would be such an honor if you could make an appearance there also. I know its a long shot to ask but I felt inspired to ask after seeing your shows. By the way your shows are great! I have been telling everyone when they visit Branson to make sure they see your show because they will have a great time. Patsy [View Entry] |
