Your story means so much to me. It had me in tears. My husband and I are currently trying to conceive a child. I have always wanted to be a mother since i was a little girl. It has not been an easy road and we have just started down it. Adoption has something i have thought about often. Your story gives me the courage to keep going and know that it willl all work out the way it is supposed to. thank you for sharing your story!

What a wonderful story! I was in tears and laughing at the same time. Your son is adorable and seems to be thriving!! Your description of becoming a mother is dead on. My two boys are 9 and 13 and I still have to listen to their music in the car (Sometimes you don't want to but it cracks me up when they sing) Enjoy your little boy. We are LID 3/27/06 China, so counting down with you.

Comments: Congratulations...your son is just adorable. I enjoyed reading your post so much. Your insight and honesty on attachment and becoming first time parents was so helpful. We are also adopting and will be first time parents. Best wishes.
