Sorry, I haven't been keeping up with e-mail and computer stuff much because I am keeping busy training and spoiling your canine cousin Bethany. She is kayaking almost daily, swimming, riding in a bicycle basket, and learning the sport of agility. We are having so much fun it is easy to neglect the necessary obedience training, but we are trying. I have learned about your congenital condition in children so I see that your challenge is very similar. I applaud you Lisa for your dedication to this precious little one and remind you that God never gives us more than we can handle and He gives us the tools to handle what He gives us. Count on one more prayer warrior for Hope. Keep up the progress notes! God bless you all!

Comments: Hang in there Hope. You are lucky to have a mom who is so willing to put your needs above her own. We just lost our little boy after 14 years. He was treated twice for cancer. Toward the end his kidneys began to fail. But he was a real trooper. As long as he had fight in him, we gave him that chance. With the help of a wonderful vet and extra TLC, we did whatever it took to keep him happy and comfortable, until his little body just didn't have it in him any more. I can tell you are strong too -- just like Darby. Plus you have youth on your side. How lucky you are to have TWO moms! You will make it. Love goes a long way. You are blessed to have such a caring family! You hang in there too mom! The effort is worth the reward!
