Comments: Mr. Scott,
I don't think that I have ever enjoyed choir this much until my middle school years. You have helped me with singing and building my confidence! Thanks so much for my wonderful time in Sweet Sensations and Pipers! I couldn't have done it without you Mr. Scott!

Comments: Jim; Congratulations and best wishes during this tender time. Thanks to you on behalf of the hundreds of lives you have impacted down through the years. In reference to retirement, I had an old funeral director friend who said "The more you do it, the easier it gets!"

To say thank you doesn't seem like quite enough. I have seen you throughout the years in passing, and thought I should tell you the confidence you gave me in singing and playing my guitar in front of the entire school during my 7th grade year. You deserve the best that life has to offer. Thank you Mr. Scott and God bless you and your family.

Jim, it's hard to imagine the influence you'd had over 42 years on thousands of students. The only thing greater than teaching them the love of music, is that you have been such a caring, Christian witness to all of them. I'm sure you will be amazed, as the song says, when you are joined in Heaven by all the people who thank you for giving to the Lord by giving to them. A teaching life well lived, my friend, now time for other "mininstries"! Blessings!
