Sorry I took so long to reply to your comment M-
I must admit I am a bit confused.  What page/site etc  are you referring to when you speak of my praise?-if you had gone to the AdToll Review site anytime since the sale you speak of,you will see I reported all of those facts long ago.

So it seems you were commenting on an out of date source, for which I do apologize for leaving out there.

If you happen to return to here and read this please tell me where you read it and I will be sure to revise it.

Thanks for you comment-please keep them coming-I am always wishing to know the latest and may not always be up to date.

Hi.
Since you are "praising" AdToll, I feel the need to add my experiences with them:
Beware of AdToll!!!
Some time ago AdToll was aquired by a US company. Since then their service and support gone very bad. Support simply don't exist. I have several issues with AdToll and contacted the support several times via email and their contact form. They simply dont reply! There's no other way to get in contact with them.
It's unbelievable that such a big company acts in such an unacceptable kind.

Bendz;

I am very happy you enjoyed the posts and comments.I just wish your link would have come through-I will post it below so others can take a look at your site as well.

Yes,it is perfectly acceptable to use AdBrite with Google. It is only other contextual ads that Google will not allow.Since AdBrite are of general purpose and do not change when content change, then they are allowed.

I am not sure you will be back to read this,so I shall post it also on your site International Insurance Web World ( to make links on this site you write the text you want linked, then swipe those words with your mouse as if they were to be copied, then click on the symbol above that looks like a chain link, then paste your URL in the message box that will appear.)

Good Luck-and feel free to comment again or to ask anything else you wish about ads etc.

In defense of AdBrite

Well Umeim, I am very sorry to hear about your misfortune with AdBrite,as I have noting but good to say about them.
IF you play them fair they play you fair,in fact they are one of the most reasonable and fair agencies out there. If they mailed the cheque to the wrong person I know they would have straighten it out and you would eventually get it-though it might take a few letters back and forth.

I can also guarantee that if they said "your friend "broke their TOS that he did indeed break the TOS and not just a little slip but something very flagrant and obvious-like having clicks and no visitors to base them on.I have seen many people think they can join traffic exchanges, get friends, even use software to get hundreds of clicks, but they do not have more then a few visitors.

On average it takes 400 casual visitors to a site to generate one click, and if your friend had $300.00 owing his first check he had to have had thousands of clicks in a short period-ask him how many impressions he had.
Since minimum payout is very low with AdBrite,he must have had something helping him earn $300.00 his first payment-my first payment was $17.00

Also,as I also advertise with AdBrite I can very easily check his CTR if I knew his URL,so I am very willing to back my opinions with solid evidence.

Every time these things happen it can always be traced back to the publisher acting with out proper regard to the advertisers,I have never seen a real fraud by a major ad agency, though Google comes very very close to criminal disregard to people, and have been sued successfully many times by advertisers.

I stand behind my review and recommendation of AdBrite -and I urge you to read and act upon my tips given there-especially about the use of banner/image ads-they are a waste of your page space unless you have thousands of hits per day.

I do not recommend agencies I do not actively use,and have been paid from.I base my reviews on nothing but experience and facts.
That is not to say that if I review an ad agency I recommend it-I also warn people to stay away from many-see my Next Generation for the most up to date comments on new ad sources .

Good luck with your efforts-and just because I disagree with you on this one-I welcome your comment and I respect your opinion and will always be willing to publish those who disagree-also I can be made to change my mind if new facts present themselves-so keep the comments coming!

AdBrite is HORRIBLE.  DO not use.

The DO NOT PAY, I finally made money after a while, and they said they sent the check when the didn't.  It was cashed by Larry Martin in Canada, but they never cared that I wasn't him.

Another time, a person on my blogroll stated that they , 1 week before payday, violated the Terms, which he didn't, and said they are going to cancel his service and let him go.  He made oinly $300, imagine if he made more.

Niyazi Unugur, thank you for your thoughts.

To bad you did not take note of the website you are commenting on-you would have seen that I already use AdToll, and in fact have a full page review of them was a good alternative-but they have so far proved to be a very poor earner-and do not compare to 90% of the others out there.

Perhaps with new owners they will attract more and better paying ads-and if they get rid of their snobbish restriction on membership(they were basing it on Alexa rankings-which as anyone experienced knows-is a phony and easily to manipulated Toolbar stat) they may yet live up to my earlier hopes.

I appreciate you wanting to promote them-but I must tell you what I think people who just comment on websites without even reading what is on that page-well,spam is the only word that comes to mind;however I shall leave your comment, just so others can read mine and find out the truth of things.
One thing I will always do with these reviews is to be 100% truthful-and will never recommend something just to make money from referrals.

I appreciate all that info about Adsense alternatives you left. Whenever you're ready for that guest article, let me know. Thanks again.

I visited this site yesterday and it took a very long time to load over 5 Min's (don't know the exact time). I would not normally wait so long but a friend recommended I read your reviews.
While I was at the page I saw an ad which was for something I have needed to buy for a long time however when I clicked the ad I did not get sent to the place I was hoping for but was left "hanging" on a blank page at http://search-simple.com/?click

You have commented here before in an effort for me to visit your page, this seems just another attempt-unless you have another explanation for your statement.
I don't mind you commenting and hoping for traffic, and there are worse things to be then associated with my page.

Well Shirley not only do I have the balls,I have the proof.I do not understand why you think that a private comment to me from Kevin at FAN  should be listed in updates, when he was only addressing me and my concerns, but since you wanted it public,so be it.Here is part of an email sent to me,what you read is a direct word for word quotes taken from that letter:

Date: Thu, 10 Jan 2008
From: Kevin
CEO
fairadsnetwork.com

Hi Doug,

"This is Kevin. I can understand your frustration and want
 us to be done
with everything already; so do we..."

"We are still under development and adding on more onto our
system every
day"

"I don't expect you to keep the codes up. In fact, I
 encourage you to
take it off and display your other suppliers for now until
 we are fully
up and running."

"Thank you for your time and sharing your grief with us. By
 the way, I
found that other ticket you submitted. It was way back in
 May and I've
attached it below my signature."

end of quotes

That last part shows the length of time they used to take to handle things, and is the time period when my first reveiw was written, and as I have already admitted and stated,I need to do an update.
I can not understand why people always want to attack the messenger, all I do is report facts. If my facts are not pleaseing,so be it,they are still facts, and I stand behind every word I have written, including the fact that I need to do an update on FAN.
It may in the eyes of some  take "balls"to mouth off and complain,in my world it takes balls to tell the truth,no matter who that upsets, and to stand behind it and back it up.
Sorry if the truth upsets anyone,I hold no grudge with FAN and wish them nothing but the best and would love nothing more for them to become a real AdSense Alternative.
As for them having the best referral program, that is of course objective.
I have the most referral income from BidVertiser who only pay a bonus AFTER the publishers earns income, this despite the fact I have have way more sign-ups from AlternateURL who pay 10% for life.
The only marker we can fairly use to determine the value of a referral program is the income derived, which is indicate by the actual earnings of the people who joined from your link, and if you are earning good money, then good for you. After all,I hope the best for all publishers, even you Shirley

Hey CP, I totally agree with you about FAN, they in fact have the best Referral Program compared to other Ad Networks !!!

I certainly do not understand why this so call Doug a.k.a MrAdVenture would even say things like:
"The last I heard from FAN,back in Jan/08,was they advised me to remove my ads from them as they could not compete."

when that's not what was even mentioned in their Updates !!!

Well Doug... you may choose not to publish this comment but it only shows that you have NO GUTS or to be direct, from a woman to a man.. "YOU HAVE NO BALLS"

Hi Doug,

As a fellow FAN member, I believe I just have to say this. It is up to you whether or not to publish this comment here but I believe for someone like you who are giving reviews to others, should have thoroughly study or understand that particular company or program first, so that you are giving a fair review.

Being a FAN publisher myself, I have seen different Ads appearing at my own site and other people's sites (depending on their contents and the keywords used by Advertisers) and it is getting better and better comparing to other new Ad Networks that have been mentioned or recommended by you.

I really do not agree with you that they allow Click Exchange, you may want to go back to their page here, it's written as "Publishers can use traffic exchanges and autosurf sites while displaying FAN ads" !!

Click Exchange is definitely not allowed in any Ad Network, didn't Adbrite sometime ago dropped a "bomb" and banned a lot of those who participated in it, I guess you were the few lucky ones  - and many thought they were so lenient, didn't we ??!!

Also as someone who has upgraded to Master Marketer, I truly can say that it is all worth it, especially as an advertiser. Besides the free clicks and impressions I have received when my ads appear under Sponsored Ad at all their pages that have more than 100 Visitors by the hour ( it was taken down lately as they say they need to improvise the appearance of the Text Ad, not only here but also that are currently showing at Publishers' page, so that it will look more professional to give better impression for Advertisers), I have also gained lots of free affiliates under me.
Remarks: I have upgraded ever since the beginning and it was only $9.99 then and it is still the same, for me

My own Ads has been quite successful too, gaining referrals as well as sales. I guess their network of Publishers received good quality visitors.

Believe me, there are still many benefits to come. In the near future, when you log-out from your account at FAN, you could be viewing my Ads   and yeah...  I'm currently earning 70% and not 60% for all clicks at my site as a Publisher !!

Though I don't see them becoming as big as G yet, I can see them having the potential to grow bigger and yes, I wish them all the best too

So, I hope you'll change your review and your opinion about FAN... or at least update it ???!! - I think the one you wrote was quite sometime ago, maybe.

By the way, have you login lately ?? Each time I login, I can see lots of Ads to approve (that I want to appear at my site) & Sites (that I want my Ads to appear). I even earn 5 cents for each Site I vote on and 2 cents for Ads.

Before I conclude this long message (sorry about that) need to inform you that your FAN Ad Code that you have pasted at your site will not work anymore unless you have submitted that site at 'Default Websites' to be send for approval.

Regards,
CP - I'M A FAN

It is a sad thing when you try and help someone and they turn on you.I was just forced to remove a comment from some calling themselves the Inspector,he threaten me because I warned him that showing your sites on manual exchanges would cost him his ad accounts.
Please people,NEVER show your sites with ads on those exchanges.I NEVER do,despite the threat left.
The message I was trying to tell the poor spiteful person that threaten me was that he should use a portal page, which is a page advertising your site that contains no ads,as long as you do not ask for clicks. I guess he thought I was being mean telling him that he was breaking rules and was resentful of the fact I knew something he did not.
Sad thing is I learned my knowledge the hard way and was trying to prevent him from having to do the same.

I feel sorry for him, wanted to help him,yet...

After reading your review on Media Text ads at http://real-adsense-alternatives.com/next-generation/ I decided to try them out on many of my content sites, however after having these ads for a few weeks I do have a couple of comments/concerns which I thought you should be aware of because so many publishers rely on your reviews and advice.
.
I hardly ever see a Media Text ad on ANY of my sites- Clearly they do display at times as I have had a few clicks but rarely clicks from a UK user. I was under the impression that these ads would help monetize my UK traffic which is very important to me especially for my site
http://footie-facts.com which has more UK users than any other nationality as its about English soccer.
I could not see any ads on your site either and as I know you only recommend ad companies you use yourself, I am certain they must be there but are just not visible to me in the UK!
.
Your review also stated that Media Text would be reducing the minimum payout amount to $25 This has not happened yet which is disappointing as from my point of view reaching $50 will take a long time if a sizable amount of my traffic can see no ads
.
To be fair I am not unhappy with the amount paid per click it is as good as if not better than the competition which is why I hope that these problems will be taken seriously and addressed by someone at Media Text
.
All the best for 2008!
Lou
