Comments: We arrived 11/09 and stayed for a week in the Ali bldg. Very nice unit with good view and upgrades. Moved over to 2001 Banyon for 3 weeks. Amazing "Penthouse" unit and the last week in 2211 Banyon. We love it there, we greet the staff with love and they return it to us. We ate our meals on the Lanai, enjoyed fellowship at the Banyon pool. Went to Kauai Christian Fellowship church, wonderful church. And so many of the staff both at church and at resort know each other. As Kyle calls lawai Beach: it is our "home away from Home" And I'm homesick already..Mahalo
Comments: At LBR for 2 weeks of Sep/Oct ... place is immaculate and renovations have been completed in many of the units ... all done very well. We looked at prices for homes in the Kaloa/Kalaheo area and can see why the prices are so high (they base the sale price on what the home can be rented for) - so, LBR is still the best deal around if you're only here for a week or two. Enjoy !!!!
Comments: We've been coming to Kauai for many years and have dined at the Beach House Restaurant many times. We've always noticed LBR's location next to TBH rest and wondered what the resort was liked. We finally tried it this year and my husband and I were pleasantly surprised of how wonderful this resort is. Our stay was started off on a very good note as we were checked in by Susan Magallenas. She was absolutely professional, helpful, friendly and very attentive. We were also fortunate to have checked out through her as well. The room we had in the Alii building was very clean and very comfortable and had a nice and pleasant view of the beautiful resort landscaping and the gorgeous Pacific ocean. We ate all our meals out on the lanai as who could pass up that view. Our only regret is why we didn't stay at the LBR sooner. We will definitely be coming back -- and soon (already planning 2013's vacation). Mahalo LBR for a memorable stay. Aloha for now....
Comments: Can't believe that we are in August already and in less than two months we will be back in Kauai at LBR for our annual two week stay. Taking the entire family this year and I know that they will have a blast, especially our three year old grand daughter. Hope to see you all at LBR.
Comments: We just returned from a one week stay at Lawai Beach Resort (an RCI exchange) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were newly remodeled with a washer and dryer in the unit. Our view was incredible; overlooking the beach and the Ali'i pool. The staff was friendly and responded to our requests immediately. My kids enjoyed going to sleep and waking up to the sounds of the ocean each day. Our bedroom faced the golf course and we were greeted a few mornings by the roosters. Bring ear plugs if you are bothered by the early morning alarm clock. We would definitely return to this resort!
Comments: We visited Lawai Beach Resorts (week of September 2, 2011) and had an awesome time. The resort was gorgeous and the 3 pools and jacuzzis were beautiful and well maintained. It was hard to decide which pool was the best because they were all so nice with a bathroom right by the pool. Our room was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed in the kitchen. We we so thrilled to have an incredible view of one of the pools and the beach where there were surfers almost all of the time. They were in the process of upgrading the units in the building we stayed but even without the upgrade, our condo was just fine!! It was also neat that there was a washer and dryer in our condo! Comments: Concierges booked 3 activities for us during our week. Comments: 1. Sunrise Helicopters: We arrived early for our flight and were "asked" to "join" the earlier scheduled flight because that flight was overbooked with a group of 3 that needed our flight. Caused a cut to 45 minute flight because of the delay in van to airport. Lots of companies available. Recommend you schedule another Co. 2. Rainbow Kayak: Our trip overbooked. We gave up our seats to a gentleman and his daughter. 3. Comments: I've been a proud owner since 1985 and just spent the last week of July at LBR. It's truly amazing how they maintain our resort to such a high level. If you want a unique dining experience check out the fine dining at Kauai Community College. They serve on Tues/Wed/Thurs at 11:30 or 12:00. You need to reserve a month in advance ! Check with someone about roads on the island... Sometimes your drive will be doubled in time. I used to live in Los Angeles... But you will absolutely love the resort !

Comments: I've been to Lawaii Beach Resort once back in 2002 with my grandmother. I spent two weeks there and had a blast. Lots of things to do, from quad riding, to ukelele and hula lessons, golf and lots of swiming. I'm going back again this coming March and I'm so looking forward to it. The best thing I think about the Lawaii Beach Resort is all you have to do is walk across the road and there's the ocean. I'm sure if you wanted, you could throw a rock of the lanai and hit the ocean...that's if you can throw that far. This will be my last trip to Kauai, but if I'm ever able to come back again, than I know the best place on the island to stay.
Comments: I have been an owner at the Banyon Bldg. since 97. It is truley a home away from home. There are people that come in and tell what they have to offer for activities. You don't get boared at all there. The Island keeps up on all the interesting things to do, like quad riding, scuba diving, kiaking(great fun)and what ever tickles your fancy. Besides, being beautiful. Best yet Luau's at Gaylords.Enjoy yourselves there, we really do.

Comments: Just checking out the website to see how far in advance they are taking reservations. My wife and I stayed in Coral in May, 2003 and got married on Mahaulepu Beach on the 11th. We are hoping we can get a reservation for our tenth anniversary in 2013, maybe even in the same unit! It's a long trip from east central Florida, but well worth it.

We own 2 weeks and frequently visit all the way from South Carolina. Sorry, but you Californians have it easy . As always, we enjoyed it so much. Comments: After reading all of the great comments in the guest book there really isn't much more that I can add. We bought a one week interval three years ago. Didn't go in 2009 so that we could bank our week and put two weeks together in 2010. Two weeks will be great but we went through withdrawal  not being able to go in 2009 so we recently purchased a second week and now we can do two weeks every year.  Because we have a two bedroom we have taken friends with us (better to play golf with a friend). If your considering a purchase watch the market listing on the web-site. There are some really good deals out there. Check with Ralph at the resort, he's very helpful and a good guy.We looked at all of the available on-the-beach resorts and we believe LBR is the best. Comments: Lawai Beach Resort; Thank you for the best stay ever on a resort!!! Your staff were so friendly, helpful and made you feel like Ohana (family). The Concierge Service was so professional and knowledgable and wether it was your first time to the island or a return trip, the concierges had great energy and excitement about the resort and Island. Thanks Lisa! Lawai Beach Resort is very fortunate to have some of the best snorkling right outside their doors as well. The access to the beach was very close, and if you had a car, parking was great with lots of space available, and transportation could be arranged for those wishing not to drive, (especially to the "all you could eat/drink" Laua's) Other amenities like tennis, exercise equipment, library, internet, 3 pools & jacuzzi's, BBQ grills and more made you feel like nothing was missing. The room was beautiful with an oceanfront view and very well maintained with many services readily available to you. I would recommend this resort to all who would like to visit Kauai. It was a great stay, and the winter weather co-operated letting us enjoy the sun, beach and ocean. Again, right from arrival to departure the trip was fantastic!
