Hi Michael,

CONGRATULATIONS on a fabulous concert at the Albert Hall !
We were absolutely thrilled we could be there to see and hear you. Your voice rang through the Albert Hall brilliantly--loved "I am what I am". Thank you for signing our CD .

Dear Michael,
My wife is a big fan of yours and insists that we come to see you whenever we can, wherever you are appearing.
Its great because it means that we get to go to all of the big concert halls regularly, especially in London, which is near to us as we live in Surrey.
We did meet you once outside the Festival Hall, but you were surrounded so we didnt hang around too long.
I should be jealous really as she's always playing your recordings, but I think youre pretty good too, so I dont object!
Looking forward to the annual Broadway concert at Royal Albert Hall.

Michael

I feel so proud to call you my friend and thank you for your DASH.

I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend.  He referred to the dates on his tombstone from the beginning – to the end.  He noted that first came the date of his birth, and spoke of the following date with tears, but he said what mattered most of all was the DASH between those years.

For that DASH represents all the time that he spent alive on earth and now only those who loved him, know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not, how much we own, the cars... the house… the cash.  What matters is how we live and love, and how we spend out DASH.  So think about this long and hard; are there things you’d like to change?  For you never know how much time is left that can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough to consider what’s true and real and always try to understand the way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger and show appreciation more and love the people in our lives like we’ve never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect and more often wear a smile remembering that this special DASH might only last a while.

So when your eulogy is being read with your life’s actions to rehash, would you be proud of the things they say about how you spent your DASH?

I am very proud of how you spent your DASH and hope to see you next year!

You traveled from London to Des Moines, Iowa, USA, for a live Telethon to benefit Variety, the Children's charity. You were an amazing performer, a talented singer and a great guy to socialize with during the event. Not only do I thank you, but the children thank you as well! I'm honored to call you my friend. I hope you come back next year.

Best Always!
