Comments: My latest update I would like to share with you. I did have another surgery to clear the margins.July 9th. I am mending well from that. I met with my Oncologist today, I start Chemo Aug 7th. That morning I will have the Port inserted and then start with my first session of Chemo. Chemo will be 6 sessions in 18 wks time, so basically every three weeks. Then Radiation for 5 weeks. The Herceptin will continue every three weeks for a year.( Herceptin is the Antibody that combats the HER 2 receptor I have in my cells.)Sometimes it is all so overwhelming, but I do have my Faith,to remember the wonderful support I have from my family and friends. Also I need to get through the awful to get to the better ! I Love You both Very Much...HUGS !

Comments: yeah! muscle spasms often wake me earlier than I want to be up but then I grab a cup of coffee and go out on the porch and watch the sunrise "something not as wonderful in the winter" and I can catch up on sleep at a later time, and at that early hour the air is so fresh and clean. see everyone in a couple of weeks.

Comments: great to hear from you Sharon, yes Nan & I have been busy trying to make sure everything is right for the reunion and the next day party at our house (thats where we can drink alcohol) since there wont be an alcohol permit at the hall(too expensive)so we have been getting the yard ready by growing a lawn for playing croquet and I put in a horseshoe pit, we'll have badminton jailai frisbee lawn tennis also a foosball table and if I have time and enough money hope to make a pingpong table but that one is just a maybe. Nan & I have been thinking about you constantly and happy to hear from you and please keep us informed on your results love you sis --- WILL & NANCY

Comments: Hi there, thanks for the kind comments...sure miss you two. Sounds like you have been working very hard to make this family event extra special and I'm sure it will be. Waiting to see the Dr. again on the 22nd for the latest Pathology report and hopes that there are clean margins this time. Also that I can start Chemo and start beating this awful disease. Comments: Our plans are coming along fine. Went to Sac this am to purchase the missing levelor bar I lost on the way back from yosemite. Trailer is about ready for trip I just hope we are. Comments: Weather here is nice, cool breezy barely 70's. Which is fine with me seem to fuction better when it is cooler. Had a great time visiting with Mom and Dad. Visit was short n' sweet. Comments: I believe it was terrible how Dr. Tiller was gunned down in a church the way that he was, but I am very much against late term abortions when for $5,000 he would terminate a pregnancy (for any reason)just days before the due date in some cases, so I view this as one murderer killing another murderer. your thoughts? On a lighter note - we have been having some rain and thunder storms the last few days and it is expected to continue at least till Thursday - how is the weather where you are at? WILL
Comments: Thank you Will for the Support Banner. I do appreciate that. I meet with the "disciplinary team" of doctors, Wed. My Birthday, Happy Birthday to me. The team consist of the Oncologist, the dr. administering the Chemo. The dr for the Radiation Therapy, Head Nurse, and a Social Worker. Hopefully I will learn then what happens first, Chemo or Surgery? It's all very scary and the words "it is Malignant. Stage 3" still sting. I'm trying to stay strong and Positive. I want this disease out of me and the cancer cells destroyed. I have wonderful support from family and friends, my work family too. Some days are quite over whelming with thoughts of support, offers of help and people that want to do things for me. I am Blessed for sure. Love you Will and Nancy (HUGS TO NANCY). I haven't felt the "why me?" I more have felt, Oh NO this isn't going to be, I'm not taking this sitting down. I Gonna Fight this thing.....so there ! Ha ha ha.
