screw all of you, and the creator of this site. the cops do one hell of a job. they saved my life, and 2 close friends of mine. if you have a problem with the law enforcement in our area pack your crap and bounce. We dont need you here.

My friends and I have compared the sguare miles in Dickinson County Area to Areas of Counties in Wisconsin and other Counties in the U.P. We used counties with close or about the same area, that is patrolled by there police. We found that there was NO comparison of the 5 other counties, when it comes to police in these counties. We found that the other 5 counties had between 15 to 20 police officers, that is sheriff, city, DNR, and state to patrol there county, compared to over 100 police to patrol Dickinson County. I guess that's why it is all over Florence County, Marinette County, and through the U.P., that if you come to Dickinson County on Vacation you may leave on Probation. Do you think may be the cops are hurting the economy in Dickinson County. Boy I'm sure glad I only have to drive through there once and awhile, you people need to start complaining to your representatives and get that bad image you have fixed.

Agree with DK. Way too many Police for this little area we live in. Way too much harassment, to justify their jobs.

What is a person who gets a DUI in Dickinson County? ANSWER They are animals of prey for the Dickinson County Police!! We hunt for birds, bear, and deer, for trophy and to feed our families. The police in this county especially the state police hunt for us to get the monies that justify there being here. We the people of prey, are the people who have jobs, pay the taxes, raise our families here, the ones with CDLs, the ones that pay the polices wages, and they ruin our lives with just a stroke of a pen for a cracked tail light, snow on your license plate, actually for nothing! Thomas Jefferson said when law is inforced, it must be inforce with compassion, and common sense.
