Comments: Always a pleasant atmosphere at the chess club for beginners, intermediates and advanced players. Enjoyed playing there.
Chess Club Ilkley, West Yorkshire Comments: I played in the Hull Chess Association clubs & teams (mainly Y.P.I. and Hull Grammar Schools) between 1962 and 1975. I remember the many great characters from that period. Particularly sad now to see the loss of Fred Worsey who was a true gentleman throughout his life.
