Comments: I am looking to acquire a male and female, not litter mates. To fill a void left when my previous dogs died. I live in New Orleans, and although i am not ready for the pups yet, I just wanted to get acquainted with you and hopefully you wouldn't mind getting acquainted with me. I may have lots of questions in the future, so please bear with me. I have done my research and your kennel comes highly recommended. Both for your attitudes, and the quality of your dogs. Comments: Well Bobby and Charla have done it again. We purchased our 2nd puppy from them about 3 wks ago. Wow she is Great!! What a sneaky little devil she is LOL. She loves to take her naps in the coffee table. That is her favorite place to hide. Her name is Bo. She gets along great with my grand daughter-very gentle with her. She weights approx 19lbs at 12 wks. Detroit our male we purchased from Bobby and Charla in Jan of this year has a blast with her. He is HUGE now- Approx 45 lbs. I don't think you could ever find any better people to deal with then Bobby & Charla. The communication is unbelievable. The emails and pictures are Awesome. They sure make the time go by faster sending the pictures every week. You can watch them grow. If you every have any questions just call them they will help you out with anything. Comments: We made it through the first week, and my goodness how they have grown. They slept pretty much through the night and this a.m Jon got up with them at 6. When I got up, Jon was calling Lotus a train and Honu a tractor, moving through the house at top speed.... Winston likes them too! When they play he always has an eye on them. I think Winston has figured out that he's much bigger than they are and I'm seeing him being very gentle with them. When Lotus runs past him she has star.ted to bite his tail as she goes by! Thank you so much for parting with her, I know that your bond with her was very strong...she loves to be with Jon, I think you instilled that in her....and Honu, it's Hawiian for Sea Turtle, and like a sea turtle, he moves with grace and strenght. Plus the sea turtle is an endangered species, like the Dogue De Bordeaux. We will take very good care of them. They are a blessing. With Lots of Love, Holly and Jon
Comments: Hi Bobby we are so pleased with our baby boy Romeo we were so surprise he was more than what we expected. We pick him up on March 9, 2008 at the airport and he was very sleepy but when we got home he was all over us he was so loving it was unbelievable. Bobby you are doing a great job with breeding this dog (Dogue De Bordeaux) We also want to thank you for all the information you have provided us my husband is just in love with your male stud Axle i plans on getting a girl when ever available. Comments: I am immensely pleased with my female pup "Posh" out of Diesel and Dee Dee's January 08 litter. Amazingly enough she has not had any accidents in her crate at night, seldom whines and is brave and alert, as she "runs with the big dogs" (my boxer and bull mastiff). I don't think she knows how small she is! Everyone who has seen her compliments her beauty. In two years I would like to have a litter out of her. I contacted Bobby looking for a show quality pup-I believe that is exactly what I received. Do not hesitate to buy a dogue from Bobby and Charla they are good, honest breeders.

But the way Bobby and Charla walked us through from the beginning to the very end, you would of thought I have done this a million times. Comments: Bobby and Charla I finally got my computer back to work again. I noticed your guestbook and wanted to add to all the praises ya'll have received about the Douges you raise. Arthur and I bought our 125lb puppy from you on 7/26/06 you guys were very imfomative,friendly, and I just do not have enough space to say all the wonderful things there is nothing bad about the way you breed these wonderful dogs. We will definitely go to you guys when we decide to get another Dogue. Oscar is very friendly and healthy and messy just the way I always imagined the breed to be. I have had big and little dogs of all breeds and these Dogues are my favorite, there is not another breed like them in existence. I want to thank you guys for always being there to answer all my calls, and put me at ease on trying to properly raise this uniqe dog. Comments: My family and I looked for 2-3 months for just the right puppy that would fit us. After searching for so long I almost gave up. I was very skeptical about buying a puppy off of the internet. When I found calvarykennels.com I called and spoke with Bobby about his dogues. Just speaking to Bobby I felt that he was sincere and very trustworthy. We called Bobby 3-4 times in one night asking many questions. Comments: My husband told me we would never buy a puppy from the Internet. I searched and searched for this breed local. They are very hard to find. Then I found Bobby and Charla's website. I fell in love with there male Diesel. I kept searching and searching. I always ended up back here at Calvary Kennels. Well our Puppy finally arrived sat. His name is Detroit Diesel. You can not ask for a better person-family to buy your puppy from. The 1st time I spoke with Bobby I knew this would go smooth. The communication is Great! They would answer any-all questions I would have. Emailed pictures every Friday night. "DO NOT HESITATE" from buying a puppy from them. I'm already planning on buying my 2nd puppy. Bobby Charla, Detroit has already brought alot of happiness into my life since my other female Bordeaux came up missing at thanksgiving time. He has made a new friend already with my 14 month old grand daughter. He slept in her lap on the way home from the airport. The 1st night at his next home he slept in our bed LOL. We are VERY PLEASED. Thank you for this bundle of Joy! I will send pictures as he grows.

Comments: To anyone thinking of buying a bordeaux from Calvary Kennels, DO IT! I have previously been ripped off by another bordeaux breeder. He sent me a puppy with the mange and no papers. Besides that he was small and under weight. The male i recieved from Bobby is magnificent. I bought a male off of Beau that is outstanding. Already, at 6.5 months old he is over 80 lbs! He has a great build and an even better personality. At first i was very sketchy about buying a dog from a stranger, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions that i have ever made. My female bordeaux was lonely, so i started shopping around for a male playmate. Ever since we got bently she has been a different dog.Bobby i could not be any happier with the pup i purchased from you. I can't wait to see what he will produce. Comments: Having lost my female to heart attack last month, your opening poem on a dogs part in mans life made me remember and cherish what my mastiff(Ember) gave to me. Our closeness can only be compared to that of true soul mates. I was affected by Katrina, including the losing our home and Ember is the reason I survived the most devastating time in my life. She was TRULY there with me when it seemed everything I did was wrong and sure to destroy me and everyone around me. Ember was the one when I was at my lowest(which was extreme) that was always by my side with no judgments and a love the only she could provide. I truly be live some pets are guardian angles sent to be by our side to help us survive when it seems life has no purpose. I will always be grateful for the short 8 years I had with my Ember and will always shed a tear when my thoughts are with her(everyday). Your website is wonder full and very uplifting to everyone lucky enough to know what the word bordeaux truly means. We currently have a import young male that has been slowly bonding with the family and is special in his own way. I feel I need to fill the void left by the loss of my Ember with another female and am currently in search of a baby that has the same desire to bonded with mommy as Ember was. Comments: I was very hesitant to purchase a puppy online and then fly him on a plane. There were so many kennels to choose from, but none of the sites compared to Bobby & Charla's Calvary Kennels. We kept coming back to it and finally made the decision to call and find out what we needed to do. After speaking with Bobby & Charla, it was clear that we had made the right decision . We received our baby...Murdock... and he is absolutely too perfect for words. He is the biggest lover already! We love him so much! To any of you that are like me... hesitant, nervous, skeptical... DO NOT worry about Calvary Kennels, Bobby & Charla know what they are doing and they are wonderful people with wonderful additions to add to your family. Moe is very playful and loves the cats, he seems to prefer drinking from a water spout outside but occasionally will drink from a bowl, he's very energetic and pretty much a hand full. Comments: words cannot express how happy we are with our new addition to the family "Mugsy Malone" ... he has the most friendly "laid back" demeanor i have every seen in a pup !!.... along with GREAT SMOOSHY KISSES !!!!.. He is the epitome of the Bordeaux breed in both stance and temperment !!.. i have not had the pleasure of meeting Bobby or Charla nor been able to visit or tour the facilities, but upon Mugsy's arrival i knew right away that we were truly blessed with Mugsy's presence.. he immediatly caught everyone's attention at the airport with people surrounding us saying "what kind of pup is that ?".. as we proudly announced "this is our new baby Bordeaux .. Comments: well it has been just over a month and little " Hanky " has taken well to our family of pooches. He went for his first trip to the ocean this past weekend. Fearless and adventurous would be 2 great adjectives to use when describing the little lad. Yep he joined our Newfoundland in the water.... he just ran in and started swimming...not just once but on 3 different occasions. he has been nothing but a bundle of joy and never ceases to amaze us! Comments: It's been a little over 2 weeks since we picked up Daisy, and she is already becoming the best dog we have ever owned. She fit right in to our family and is great with the kids. She's learning commands quickly and loves playing with our cats. With the weekly pics from the Lick's it seemed like a long 8 weeks till she got here, now that she is here we would have waited longer to get such a sweet pup. Comments: Bobby & Charla, I just wanted to remind you how gorgeous your puppies are. I went to the local Petsmart this weekend and I couldn't believe there were 3 other Bordeaux puppies in the store. Rather than buy a puppy locally I decided to buy one of your pups and I am so happy I did. She was by far, the best looking puppy there. She had the best coloring, nice stocky body , and such a great personality. She loves other dogs too. I was really proud to have Dora on the end of MY leash. Anybody nervous about buying a puppy online from Bobby or Charla have nothing to worry about. He adapted very fast and loves playing with our kids. He has definitely become one of the family very fast. The purchase experience was great!
