No one I know can honestly say they never took a chance driving or riding while slightly impaired. It is part of the life style. We all know it aint right BUT we have all tried to beat the devil more than once for sure. You are 100% right about no good can come out of a long jail term for Billy. Much good can come out of him owning up and sharing his feelings and remorse with the young guns. Bigger celebrities than him have gotten away with literal murder with very little jail time. Let's hope for a sane and fair outcome. As for you and your heavy heart...give yourself grace. You are an artist with much to give this world. Thanks for talking about a painful situation with clarity and logic. Meanwhile, keep on making great music and sharing your talents with all of us. Hope to see you again soon. Comments: Well what can you say about one of the best times we have had in a long time. We went to the "Shasta Salute to Our Troops" Rally in Tulelake, CA. It was so beautiful out. The fairgrounds were the best I've see in a long time. Beautiful green green grass, making us feel like we were back at home in CT, and making our campsite just the best spot. We meet Sabrina, Charlie and the band and man were we just pleasantly surprised how powerful, full of energy and just plain great the band was. So great we bought two of their CD's for our 18hr ride back to AZ. This was the second year of the Shasta Salute to Our Troops, we missed the first one, but so glad we didn't miss this one. Our troops give us this right to vacation with freedom and security that we are safe. Our troops never think twice on whether they made the right decision to protect such a great country...the USA... The men that told their stories made this trip worth every dime and all our time to give to them what they and their familys sacrafice so much for. We will never forget this trip or the soldiers who shared their stories. Thank you so much Jeff, Debbie, Gary, Lorrie, The Charlie Bretchel Band and all that made this event worth our trip. We'll see ya next year.
