Hey Elana, Whit and Jake:

Great seeing you again at the Continental Club-Houston.  Nice to see y'all playing together again...and fantastically!!

I've been chasing Hot Club around Texas (as well as PA and Ohio) since i first saw y'all at Gruene Hall in '98!  And you drank all my Shiner Bock when we snuck it into Wilberts in Cleveland!!
Time Flies!!

I'm the one who always requests "Jessie's Polka".  Get it back into the song list, please!

The new CD is by far the best one ever!!  We are listening to it alot.

Thanks again and come back to Houston soon. The Mucky Duck would be the perfect room.

Cheers,

Ron

We enjoyed the second night even more than the one the night before.  Thanks for playing my requests, Stardust particularly.
You guys are awesome!
Didn't know you played Parsons.  Will see you there next year if you book it, if not before.

Jim and Krista:
It was nice meeting your guys.

Heard you all recently back in Austin, Tx. and had a chance to get a couple of your older albums at the merchandise table. On the "Best of..." album, when Elana sings "Deed I Do", I noticed that her rendition is VERY similar to Blossom Dearie! Is that a coincidence??? Wondered if she was an inspiration for Elana, as she was one of my fave performers, making her career playing cocktail piano in France...

Thanks for keeping us filled with that great hot jazz of Stephane and Django!

Bummer . . . now that my wife and I have a kindergarten daughter, no more late night trips to the Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa.  Wish we could be there on Aug. 18 to hear you unveil "Wishful Thinking" and soak up the rich aura of Cain's.  You can almost smell the spilled whiskey from 1939!

Eagerly awaiting the arrival of the newest CD.

Looking forward to hearing you in concert (for our ninth time) in Coffeyville, Kansas, on Oct. 6.

We thoroughly enjoyed both shows at Camden Park. Great to see all three of you again. We are looking forward to catching at least one show (maybe more) next month. Thanks again for signing our CD and just making our weekend well worth the drive.

I am pretty sure that you made a new fan out of my brother, Chris.

Dave and Nancy,

Pleased to meet both of you too. Hopefully our paths will cross again at another HCOC concert, Pickin' in Parsons or some other musical event.

We saw you all for the first time last night at Camden Park and you knocked our socks off!
I believe you all  invented the word "eclectic".
You hit our sweet spot in music taste---all kinds.

Going back to see you again tonight.

My wife Janice and myself have had the privilege of seeing you in concert twice this year, in Maidstone, Kent, England, and the Broadstairs Folk festival also in Kent. We think you are terrific. Please come back to the UK so as we can see you again. You are the best live act I have seen, keep it up.

Just back from your concert at Bellver Castle in Palma - it was a knockout.  I really enjoyed it.  I was particularly taken with your versions of the old Hoagy Carmichael  standard, "Stardust" and Waits' "Long Way Home".  I've always thought that Nat King Cole's was the definitive vocal version of "Stardust" and now I reckon yours the definitive instrumental.

In the morning (it's now almost 1.00 a.m. here and the stores are closed) I'm out to look for whichever CD has your version of "Stardust" on it.

Come back to Mallorca soon - there are few vistors who will be as welcome!

Hi everyone,Can I as a 73 year old U.K fan thank you so much for the great performance you put on at Bungay last week. The music was fantastic but what struck me was the fun you have while performing. This quality is totally infectious and was transmitted to the audience. You totally recharged my body batteries and I am convinced that I will now live to be 100! Have a wonderful future together and please come again, Regards,Peter

Just wanted to thank you guys for a wonderful set at Cambridge Folk Fest, and for signing your new CD, the playing of  which made driving to London pass in a whisker.

Can't wait to see you folks live again!

Saw you Guys at last Saturdays Cambridge Folk Festival (twice in fact, once on the big tent then in the evening in the club tent). Was well impressed - have never seen you before. Your music was great and what a together act you are. Bought 2 of your CDs and will be following you from now on.
Whit- was intrigued by your guitar - what make was it ?and noticed you had a humbuck pickup added with the usual blue tack etc. Is it the guitar or the pickup that gives you that wonderful jazzy tone?

Best wishes - Alan

Hiya! Saw you last night at Fisher Theatre, Bungay. You were all awesom as usual and so sweet to me and my two friends as we ended being possibly the last people in the audience to leave and leave you all alone! We had such a great time and can't wait to see you all perform again and hopefully at the Fisher Theatre again that would be great! Thank you so much, you really were brilliant!

All the best,
Jenni.
