Dear friends.  Please pray for our nine-year-old ministry (started in 2001) -- http://www.tjlit.org (Testifying Jesus’ Love in Truth).

We make free resumes, teach free English weekly, and do free translations/interpretations in 17 languages to any church or organization that asks us to. We also give out 3000 tracts each week, and we get people who are abused, have mental illness and other problems into churches and places where they can receive help, and get kids into free dentists.

We love the Lord, and love the ministry he has blessed us with. We are deeply committed to fighting racism and poverty.

Please send us your prayers (Email: reachus@tjlit.org.), and pass our site to friends, missionaries and family, as there are many who are lonely; and, we are thrilled when Christians connect. As the world becomes more hostile towards Christians; it is essential that we connect.

At the moment we are trying to set up a pen pal club so people from all over can write to others and develop friendships.

Nobody should be lonely. If you read this and are lonely, please contact us and we will do our best to get you into a good church wherever you are in the world.

Please also click on and read the Bible verse of the day, and say a prayer for us.

Is there anyway we can help you? Please contact us.

Praise God, contact us if you are lonely, and God bless you.

To our American friends: Please read article 51 on our site “Things I love about America.”

PS. Sorry to the person whose guestbook we have just signed. If we have taken up a lot of space and not commented, again, sorry. The fact that we have left a message is proof, in our opinion, that you are good.  God bless you. Ian.

Thank you Carolyn for the most wonderful tour you gave us on 25th January!
Despite the freezing temperatures, we found it to be the most heart warming tour in NYC!
Our favourite moment was the Gospel Church, how lucky you are to have such a place on your doorstep!
Thank you for the coffee at yours and all the tips you gave us afterwards.
We've since watched American Gangster and recognised a lot fo places!
Our next trip will bring us to Harlem again and to one of the nice B&Bs your book will contain!
God bless and take care
Cathy & Ruud from Holland/Ireland.

My mother and I got back from New York last week and we had the best time ever in Harlem. On out first day we visited a baptist church in Harlem for the Sunday service and were overwhelmed by the warm welcome we received. We then found fantastic chicken, rice and beans at a neighborhood diner. Any time we stopped on the street we were approached and asked whether we needed help. We returned to Harlem 2 days later for the inauguration day and hoped to get into the Shomberg Centre but it was full. We were fortunate that a great lady behind us then invited us to her friend's church - Primera Iglesia Africana Methodist Episcopal who very generously invited us in to join their celebration and viewing of the Inauguration along with local schoolchildren. We met the wonderful Audrey King Rubie and her son Haile, who's amazing art is hosted on this site and the lovely Doleres and her son at the church. Our best memories of New York are firmly set in Harlem and we would recommend to any visitor to NY to venture up into this friendly district.
