Hi Candice:

Does Georgia get more gorgeous every time I see her or am I only imagining it?  You don't look so bad yourself, Mom.

Please don't stress over the difficulties of being a first time mother.  Truly, all babies should be our second babies so we realize that it really isn't all that difficult, it is just all so new and we don't know what to expect.  I remember that I would call my mother every 5 minutes after I got my little girl home from the hospital expressing my anxiety and asking all these ridiculous questions.  After a while, a routine does set in, and all of the anxieties will go away and you will just enjoy each other.

Send me your new address, e mail and phone number.

Love to you and Georgia.

Helen

Welcome home, Candice and Georgia!!  Loved following your footsteps from home to China and back on your blog.  I can't tell you how excited I am for all of you and I can't tell you how many tears I've shed reading some of your entries.

Just think... the hardest part of all of this is behind you now -- the gruelling, awful wait, and the two long trips to and from China.  Now the fun begins, right?

Enjoy your little one, Candice... the bonding time, the hugs, the kisses, the priceless mother-daughter time I'm so looking forward to myself.  And, when you're feeling a bit more settled, send me an email.  I'd love to meet Georgia one day.

Give your beautiful, little one a big hug and kiss for me.

xoxoxoxo

CWC and Gorgeous Georgia,

Welcome Home!!!!!! Congratulations on completing the journey of a life time, and......beginning it. I am so proud and happy for you both. It is incredible what you've done.
The updates have been incredible, informative, funny, and a great way to feel part of. Thank you!
Just a few bits of news from the world: Josh Whedon has a Buffy graphic novel coming out, so you may have to resolve your natural girl-dislike of comic books in order to digest the Latest. Other than that, I am an extended guest of the Trubey household right now, staying there from Thanksgiving through the end of exams (Dec 18th) and its done me a huge world of good. Living with John is great and this morning I finally had someone who appreciated the smell of bacon.
Other than that, New York misses you, we all miss you, and I think some visit-schemes are brewing. Consider the extended holidays (this time I'm including Obama's inauguration) a grace period, but after that....expect visitors.

            With enormous fondness,

                                      KJS

I am so happy for the both of you. It is fate that you have found each other. I know what a long, hard road it has been for you and the rewards will more than make up for that. Being a mother is the greatest job I have ever had and as challenging as it can be at times, I feel so blessed.

WIshing you a lifetime of love, health, and happiness!!!!

With love, Stacy
