I was a crewcheif and served with Ed Ventura in the 7/17 Air Cav in 1967-1968. I am looking for any other crewcheifs in Blue Ghost who ended up in Chu Lai where I was hit and sent home. I would really like to hear from Eddie or anyone else. Can call me in Maryland at 301-384-5797.

Thanks

My dad was Louis Hammill. He was stationed in Phan Thiet in 1969 with the 7/17. He was a helicopter mechanic. Unfortunately he died in a fishing accident right before my 5th birthday (January of 1976). If anyone has any stories or pictures of my dad, I would love to have them. Take care.

I flew scouts with  A troop 7/17th in 69-70.I was wing-man to Capt. Gus Robinson and Ssg. Tabb when they were shot down and Gus was killed and Tabb was captured. I talked with Robert Tabb last week after searching for him all these years. I feel I can now leave this world in peace when my time comes. I am still searching for A Capt. Baer if anyone can help me find anything about him please contact me at terrmikels@embarqmail.com or terrmikels@yahoo.com I now live in Florida.

I proudly served with the 7/17 Air Cav 1969 - 70 and served most of my time in Pleiku. I just got a call from Richard Gregerson and he stated that members of 7/17th meet on a annual basis. I look forward to attending the next reunion in Orlando sometime in 2009.
