Comments: Hoooooray for Futuro House ! I wish someone would bring it to the market again but with the following mods: Maybe 5x the diameter of the prototype A two-storey model A STEAMPUNK version A modern update but Snap-on additions and modifications to get more space Futuro Home on a hydraulic rack so the house can be lifted into the air or could be made to hide in the dirt
Comments: Stopped to look at one several times in Janesville WI too many years ago to mention. Was photographed in it on one occasion as I traveled with friends to summer in WI. Some 20 years later; agin traveling; the SAME one turns up at Pink Antiques on Rt. 55 between Springfield IL and St. Louis Mo
Comments: i have just seen a photo of a futuro house in rockwall texas. it has windows showing in the photo but i could not tell if it is being lived in.
Comments: There is one in Perth, Western Australia, somewhere. It started as a sales office at a new housing subdivision in the late 70s. Called Burrendah. Southern suburbs of Perth. Then it was moved to a major intersection in a nearby suburb called Willetton. corner of Leach highway and Karel Avenue. Just as a piece of local curiosity, locked up and not functioning in any way. I lived up the road as a kid and used to get into it with my mates. someone had started a fire in there at some stage but I recall it being OK, just a bit blackened inside. It disappeared about 10 years ago, I have heard of it being offered for sale recently but cant verify that.
