Town & Country: United States Comments: Your songs have always been special to me and my family. I had heard sing you when you visited our church -Elim , in Guyana. This was around 1973 or so? My parents had a tape of you singing with just your guitar.I even remember a particular song you did on that tape-Carried on the shoulders of the shepherd........ Best wishes Esther
Town & Country: Carluke Scotland Comments: Len your music meant so much to me as young christian living and working away from home on merchant ships and when my brother and I got the chance to lead worship in our home church one Christmas eve we used the song nativity as a duet and everyone commented how the song helped to bring over the true meaning of Christmas.
Town & Country: Ashford Kent UK Comments: Hi I am now an atheist aged 56 but when I was 19 I got converted in an Elim church and when I found your albums years ago I could not stop playing them and remember the lyrics even now. Tonight I found your site and played some of your tracks which brought back so many memories and your words moved me to tears. I wish that God was real but after 19 years in the church I left believing that Jesus is not alive and that there is no God. However tonight I thought of once again reading the bible after hearing your singing. Take care and all the best. Kind Regards David
Town & Country: Rovaniemi, Finland Comments: Hi Len, I am very happy that I found your website and had a possibility to hear your song " Is it nothing to you? ". It has a special meaning for me. We used to sing it in finnish words in 70´s (early 80´s). It was very popular within young christians. I tried to get your albums later but I never succeeded. So now I feel very comfortable finding a possibility to hear your beatiful songs. Best wishes and God Bless! Henry [View Entry]
Town & Country: North Ayrshire, Scotland Comments: Dear Len, Can't believe I've managed to track down this website, with lyrics for songs I used to sing as part of a duet when I was 15 years old (long time ago!!) - don't know why I've been lead to this site, as - being totally honest - I'm a back-slider. However, there must be some embers left burning, as I often sit with my daughter playing our guitars, and for some reason, your songs from all those years ago, still come to mind - actually started looking for lyrics to Mary, Mary, as we were sitting last night singing and playing and I couldn't remember all the words. I know the impact your songs had on many church gatherings back in the 70's - and must still be having the same impact today. Best wishes, Jennifer [View Entry]
Town & Country: Rotherham UK Comments: Hi Len, Your music has always been an inspiration for me in my Christian walk. It is a shame that we don't see your albums on sale in the shops these days. The message of your songs still are relevant today and your ministry in song has stood the test of time. May God truly bless and keep you in all your ways and may you know His very best for your life. It is my prayer that you will be in the centre of the Lord's will, each and every day of your life. Every blessing, Ian Chapman.
Town & Country: Birmingham England Comments: Hi Len while sharing a mission house with about 12 others between '84-'86 I heard some of your songs on a cassette which was owned by one of the girls who had been a Christian longer than my [then] 4 years, and one or two of them I had always wanted to hear again. Last night I found your site after much Googling and searching and was delighted to find that I could download Prince of Peace... it is a very special song...deceptively simple, but not simple but deep... bless you and your sister for making these available.... many of us are aware that we constantly have to return to our First Love...and that song is one of the things that reminds me of my early years in Him. Thank you [View Entry] [View Entry] [View Entry]
Town & Country: Liverpool UK Comments: Len, Thank you so much for your music. I cut my teeth in the church and got born again in 83. Whilst giving my life to Jesus in the back room of a church my girlfriend and now wife for 23 years was doing the same thing in the church hall. I was just 17 then and did not know just how much Jesus was going to change my life. Your music was one of three artists who influenced us in those early days. Don Francisco and Keith Green were the other two. We now have 3 children, Sarah 21, Rachael 18 and Stephen 15. They know of Len Magee and can sing along to your songs. Sometimes i play your music and take a trip down memory lane. Our kids think your music is great. For the past 16 years I have worked in a Christian school here in the UK and serve the church Sunday school. I sometimes play music to my class, soon they will hear of Len Magee. The Lord richly bless and keep you and your family. May His face shine on you and bless your ministry always. Roy, Tracey, Sarah, Rachael and Stephen.

Town & Country: Nantwich, UK Comments: Hi Len - happy memories. Glad you're still around! David.
Town & Country: Nantwich, Cheshire, England. Comments: Dear Len I have never met you, but I grew up in a neighbouring road to your mum. I attended Barking Elim church at the time Pastor Brian Richardson was leading there. I had several albums of yours and loved the words to many of them. I never knew your life story, but I am so glad you found a Bible and God transformed you into a man who He knew would be responsible for leading so many others to Christ. I made a commitment at 15yrs of age, but fooled around and came away from God. At 20 I had an argument with a Barking lad and hurt him. I served a 1yr sentence in youth custody, and that is where I met God for real. I woke in my cell and imagined the Bible on my shelf speaking to me. I wrote my first poem the Dusty Book and began over time to witness to other inmates. I came out of prison and straight back in to Barking Elim Church. I recently came out of Barking after serving God there as a leader and teens leader for many years. I have been in Regents Bible school since September and as an older student it has at times been testing for my family and myself, but we know this was the move for us. I am training with an open view to future ministry whether pastoral or specializing in the youth and teens area, it is early days yet. My wife Sonia, our two boys and myself we just want to place our lives in God's hands and let Him lead. I just put in your name to look at the site and your testimony spoke volumes to me. The Lord is the best fisher of men, and I for one am glad I got caught. God touch you and your loved ones mightily. Colin, Sonia, Nathan and Nahum John.
Town & Country: Penrith Australia Comments: Len Never heard you preach, never met you, but have heard you sing. It's not just the voice, the music, but the message. Thank you for not hiding your talent under a bush but letting it shine for Jesus God bless you real good
Town & Country: Bristol, England Comments: Hello I shared a room at uni in the 1970's with someone who was converted through Len's ministry at Watford and his music accompanied us through the three years of our studies. I can still remember the words to many of the songs, even though I have not heard them for more than 30 years. I was so thrilled to discover this site and to know that Len is still ministering in Australia. Thank you for the site and for the inspiration of your ministry. [View Entry]
Town & Country: Hamilton, New Zealand Comments: Dear Len I borrowed "Its Your Presence" on cassette from my uncle and aunty about 25+ years ago. I listened to those songs as I went to sleep so many times and I cried when I had to give the tape back! I feel so close to God when listening to these songs and I am stoked to be able to buy new copies. Your love of God and your worship inspire me. Thank you so much. God Bless you Andrew |
