Whether or not you attended the reunion, the Memory Book is an absolute "MUST".  Wow!  It is just like a yearbook except we're all old, not that there's anything wrong with that. Shortly after high school I lost all my Fleming and Narbonne yearbooks.  It made me very sad that I had nothing but a few photos and senior pictures to remember my teenage years.  Now, I have a yearbook with not only all the photos from the reunion, but each and every senior picture...the way we were. Looking at all the reunion photos brought that very special evening to life once again.  Every time I open the book I am transported to that Grand Reunion and that's a good thing.  After returning to my everyday life, that night had a Cinderella-like quality to it.  You know?  I simply can't thank Dennis enough for going above and beyond everyone's expectations.  You are a very thoughtful and kind man to put so much work into drawing us all together and finding ways to keep us all in touch. Thank you Dennis, I believe you have been divinely inspired.

Hi everyone.  Looks like I missed out on a great time and am sorry I missed it.  I won't the next one.  I'll be sure to be there. 

Well, it seems that everyone has stopped signing the guest book.But, just because the reunion has passed, doesn't mean we should stop making entries.  I guess I'll keep everyone posted as to what Dennis and I have been up to and hope that others will follow.  Since the cruise, we have attended several car club meetings and have hired out our woodie for a wedding photo shoot...lots of fun.  We have quite a few car events coming up and if anyone is interested in going, let us know and we'll give you the particulars....it makes for a fun day and a great place to take grandkids.  Until later..all take care

Our 40-year reunion was wonderful but like many of you've already stated, the evening just slipped by way too quickly!  I realized by the end of the evening that I hadn't even spoken to everyone that I wanted to.  The Mexican Riviera cruise was terrific in so many ways...loved spending time with former classmates - Dennis and Dianna Webb (their son, Jason) and some of his friends, Dennis' two sisters, Bonnie and Joyce.  Also, Don Griffon (what a great tour guide for us at the Mexican ports!), Nancy (Stockinger) Geunter, her husband, Steve and their son, Jeff...Donna (Wilson) and husband, Greg, Johnnie (Pack) and Dennis.  My husband, Jay, and I live in the Atlanta area and will be celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary this Wednesday (April 30).  I have two grown sons, Chris and Will, who are 25 and 23, both single and live in the Atlanta area.  I also have two stepdaughters who live in NC and a stepson and his family in MI.  (I'm a grandmother of four adorable grandsons, ages 3-10).  I've been an Administrative Assistant for over 30 years and sing in a ladies barbershop chorus.  I've been blessed to be reunited recently with Peggy Campbell who lives in the Atlanta area.  If anyone is in Atlanta, come see us!  Keep in touch and take care, Nancy....

I am just now getting a chance to go thru all the pictures taken at the reunion and cruise. It looks like everyone had a wonderful time.  I have been living in Arkansas 10 years this June, and love it. I have been working in the loan department of a bank for almost 10 years.  My daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter (17) and 2 grandsons (10 & 9) live just across the Mississippi River in Tennessee, about a 40 minute drive from me, so I get to see them quite often.  My granddaughter, who on her 17th birthday last November, signed up for the Army Reserves, and after graduating with honors this May, will be going to boot camp in South Carolina, then on to AIS training in Georgia. She then will start college. Right now, just trying to decide where she wants to go.  My mother lives up on Bull Shoals lake in the Ozarks, which is about 3 1/2 hours from here.  I lost my dad to cancer in 2001, and just last week had to put my 20 year old cat to sleep. Which is a long time to have a "best friend pet"!  I would love to hear from fellow classmates, so please email me and let me know how you are doing!

WELL IT IS ALREADY OVER BUT WHAT A GREAT TIME.  IT WAS SO GREAT TALKING TO EVERYONE AGAIN.   IT WAS GREAT SEEING PEOPLE THAT I STARTED SCHOOL WITH, LIKE LEON,LARRY,NADINE  JUST HOPE SOMEDAY SOON WE CAN DO IT AGAIN. AND BOBBIE YOU WERE A REAL HOOT! HOPE EVERYONE WILL TRY AND STAY IN CONTACT, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.  DEBBY

WOW!   IT WAS GREAT TO SEE EVERYONE AT THE REUNION.  I OF COURSE WISH THAT MORE W68 HAD BEEN ABLE TO ATTEND, BUT I SURE ENJOYED SEEING EVERYONE THAT ATTENDED.  BOTH JOHNNIE AND I HAD A GREAT TIME AT THE REUNION AS WELL AS OUR WEEK FLOATING IN THE PACIFIC OCEAN ON THE CARNIVAL PRIDE HOTEL.  THE CRUISE AND ALL THAT IT OFFERED WAS A WONDERFUL WAY TO ENJOY THE TIME TOGETHER.  YOU MISSED A GREAT OPPORTUNITY.  THANKS TO DENNIS WEBB FOR ALL OF HIS EFFORT IN PUTTING THIS DOUBLE EVENT TOGETHER AS WELL AS THE WEB SITE.  I HOPE THE WEB SITE  CONTINUES TO GROW AS A MEANS OF STAYING IN CONTACT AND TOGETHER WITH OUR COMMON BOND "NARBONNE HIGH SCHOOL" ALUMNI. 

 I WOULD LIKE TO PROPOSE A REUNION IN 2010, WHEN WE ALL (GULP) TURN THE BIG 6-OH.  WE COULD TAKE A WEEK CRUISE TO ALASKA OR PERHAPS TO HAWAII.  IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED PLEASE LET ME KNOW.      

I admit I was apprehensive attending our 40^th reunion as I was (in those days) a loner for many reasons and didn’t partake in school activities.  What a surprise!  To be able to see and converse with my classmates was superb.  At our table were at least three (possible four) that attended elementary, junior high and high school; Debbie Reeder, Robert Lloyd, myself and I believe Nadine Smithen.  Wow.  Memory Lane.  As a connoisseur of cool shirts (having many) I was pleased to see so many; woodies, hot rods, etc.  Hopefully I’ll be able to see Dennis Wuethrich 41 Woodie and 57 Chevy soon.  Those of you having cool rides, email me so we can set in a motion a long deserved cruise with our windows down and music of the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s being played on our (not 8-tracks) CD players.  If you don’t own an oldie but goodie or rat rod), contact me any way as I’m sure we can find an empty seat placing your name on it.  There is nothing like an early morning cruise taking in the splendors of our fabulous coast line and amazing sunrises.  To Doctor John, I’m taking your advice!  I was most of all surprised seeing Tim Mc Duffy.  From tall and slender to WOW!

Hey thought I would be the first to post after the reunion since I was the last to post before the reunion.  First I would like to thank the Webb's for all their work on this Webb site (no pun intended) and their work on the reunion.  It was just great seeing how many of us survived the 60s. In 1968 I am sure many of us had no idea what we would be doing or how our lives and classmates lives would turn out.  From my perspective we did pretty dam good.  Now for the reality check, how many of you talked about retirement, children and grandchildren. How about this one, " I left the job I really liked for the one I could not stand because it had better benefits".  Were you surprised how old everyone looked compared to you or how young they looked compared to you.  You can bet in 1968 we would have been bored to death with these topics.  Ah, the reality is setting in, we are our parents.  Had a great time and hope to hear from you all.

Ah crap, my computer burned up and just got repaired. I have a lot to say and catch up on but will wait until the reunion.  If Chris Razivich, Steve Cheeck, Don Giffen, John Rapjohn, any of the Higgins clan, Richard Martinez, all of the Drama Crew, are reading this, I hope to see you and others there. 

This is a fantastic website.  Just think 40 years ago, no websites and no e-mails, how did we  survive.  Unfortunately, I have a prior commitment on Saturday night and  I will have to miss the 40^th reunion.  I just talked to Debby Butler (Reeder) and we will be meeting next week for dinner before she heads back home, she will fill me in with all the details of the reunion.  Anyways, I have two daughters (36 & 32) and 6 grandchildren (16-4) that have been the joy of my life, they all live really local so I get to spend lots of time with all of them.  I live in Lakewood and work for Long Beach Unified Schools District   I Can’t wait to retire!!!!!!!! I hope everyone has a great time and can’t wait for Debby to give me a full report.

I AM ATTENDING THE REUNION BUT WAS TO LATE TO SEND IN MY BIO.  I MARRIED A GUY FROM OUR RIVAL SCHOOL,CARSON AND THIS YEAR WE WILL HAVE OUR 40TH ANNIVERSARY.  WE HAVE FOUR CHILDREN TWO GIRLS,TWO BOYS ,AGES 37,36,31,AND 29. WE ALSO HAVE 5 1/2 GRANDCHILDREN, 3 BOYS AND ALMOST THREE GIRLS. WE HAVE LIVED IN CALIFORNIA MOST OF OUR MARRIED LIFE BUT LIVED IN MISSOURI FOR NINE YEARS AND NOW NEVADA FOR THE PAST TWELVE YEARS. WE HAVE HAD A GREAT LIFE WATCHING OUR CHILDREN GROW AND NOW SEEING THE GRANDCHILDREN GROW UP NOW I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE ALL OF YOU. SEE YOU THERE!

  Hi Everyone!  I thought I'd make one last entry here before the Big Reunion!  I'm also using larger type, as I know we all need a little more help seeing than we did 40 years ago!  Dennis and I are all ready for Saturday night as well as the Cruise..we'll be going to the Good Guys Car Show/Cruise on Friday (all day) and Saturday until noon...we'll be there with our 1941 Woodie if anyone is interested in coming out to say hello.  The Woodies will be in a special area, so just ask when you enter the gate. It's a great opportunity to relax and have a good time looking at "old" cars.  By the way, it's being held at Del Mar Fairgrounds.  If we don't see you there, hopefully, we'll see you at the Grand.
