Comments: On my way home after a first semester of study in Paris, I picked up your book, The Courtier's Secret, at Washington's airport for some reading on the plane back to Montreal. I fell asleep on the plane but I started reading it once I got home and even though I was tired as hell and jet-lagged, I just couldn't seem to put the book down. I absolutely loved it! I grew very fond of the main characters and wished I could read some more about the life of Jeanne and Henri. Please say you will write a sequel, anything with the same characters! I'm reading the book over and over again until your next book comes out and I get attached to new characters! I just hope it will be available for purchase in Europe... great work, perfect balance between history and fiction.... it just made me want to revisit Versailles as soon as I get back to Paris in January and explore it from a whole new perspective. Thank you very much and please keep on going. Happy Holidays!  oh and I forgot to say that The Courtier's secret should definitely be adapted for the big screen... this motion picture would, without a doubt, be a great success!
Comments: Your books are amazing. Once I started The Courtier's Secret, I couldn't put it down. I can hardly wait for The Secret of the Glass and the one after it seems almost too far away to wait!

Comments: I have known Donna for a few years now and I have to say I am so proud of her and all she has accomplished! To author two books (and counting) while raising two very busy boys, is nothing short of amazing! I enjoyed her first book, The Coutier's Secret, and cannot wait until The Secret of the Glass is released. Congratulations Donna, you deserve the best of everything!
Comments: I just finished the Courtier's Secret - I loved it! I felt like I was transported back to the time of the Sun King and was there attending the court. I can't wait to send it to my mother and I already told my girlfriends the name of the book. It was fabulous and I eagerly anticipate the next novel. Thank you Donna! |
