City Cronulla Sydney Country Australia Comments: My sister and I stayed for week, and didn't want to go home! My sister has stayed there many times, and always returns! I now know why! Great breakfast, poolside lunch terrific, dinner delicious! Very clean,super friendly and obliging staff. Will stay there again! Only negative, bad hair dyers!! But hey! I was on holiday and do I REALLY need a hairdryer!
City Melbourne Country Australia Comments: Thank you so much to the Discovery kartike Plaza Hotel...Despite my daughter and myself not receiving our bags from the airlines, we still managed to have a fabulous time on our short break thanx to the wonderful staff, beautiful surroundings and the many available facilities at your fantastic resort....Most particularly a massive Thank You to the front desk staff who followed up the progress of our lost bags with the airlines everyday, nothing was ever too hard for them even when they were extremely busy.... We loved the Discovery Kartika Plaza so much we have come home and re-booked a Villa for Christmas with the rest of our fsmily..
City Melbourne Country Australia Comments: Just arrived home from a wonderful holiday in Bali. The Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel was absolutely brilliant and I would never stay anywhere else in Bali. The staff and everything about the resort were amazing and the kids loved every minute of it. You could not ask for a better holiday destination. Thanks to the staff of the Discovery Kartika for making this holiday the best one ever!!

City Karratha Country Australia Comments: April 2008 WOW! We have just arrived home from Bali and what a wonderful relaxing time we had spent at the Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel. We could not have asked for anything better. Staff was fabulous and very friendly and the villa was amazing.  Thank you for making our holiday a very memorable experience. We will be returning again in the near future...
City Perth Country Western Australia Comments: We have just returned on 4th January from an 11 night stay at the Kartika Plaza. This experience was fantastic. The wonderful staff, excellent facilities and superb New Years Eve Party laid on by the hotel will ensure that this was a holiday never to be forgotten. The breakfasts were yummy and of course we ate to much, the dinners and beautifully talented singers that serenaded our table were delightful. Their friendly smiles will never be forgotten. A fantastic location and delicious pool side lunches - club sandwich!!! topped it all off. We are looking forward to the next time and thanks again to all the staff at the Kartika. Anne & Joe W.
City Seattle Country USA Comments: During our recent family holiday to Bali we elected to stay at the DISCOVERY KARTIKA PLAZA HOTEL on Kuta Beach. It was a fun week and the hotel is centrally located to any and all activities in Bali. The breakfast’s are superb and cover the spectrum on appetites. On our final night, just hours before we were set to fly, our youngest child became very ill.
He did not require hospitalization but it was clear we would not be able to fly. I briefly explained to the hotel staff and they set into motion what should be the model in customer service. The manager took my flight information and called the airlines to make changes for me. They opened an office so we could get out of the heat. They brought cool towels for my child to reduce his fever. They brought water and some food. They repeatedly offered their in house medical doctor. As our flight was postponed, they found us a room within minutes on one of their busiest weekends. They moved my family into that room and repeated the offer for their staff physician to visit.
I have never seen in all my travels such a considerate, compassionate and thoughtful staff. Were I a professional educator or a industry consultant in Hotel Hospitality, I would seek out the management and staff of Discovery Kartika Plaza as the primer in excellence, and superior service “How to of Customer Care”. In conclusion, I would give Discovery Kartika Plaza my absolute strongest recommendation for their superb customer service, location, views, amenities and above all their staff! David A
City AMK Country Singapore Comments: Well, we just came back from there. Enjoy ourselves very much over there. These are some of the comments for anyone out there; Package : Romance package (honeymoon) 041107 Room : As shown in the website. Quite spacious but not facing the sea. Have to look to the side to see the sea, even so, being block by the trees. Air-con cold. Room service every morning. Breakfast : Pond Cafe. A variety of food, Asian, western, veg. Always have a full breakfast La Cucina : Candlelight dinner, not a memorable one. Food just okay. Nothing special. In the 'garden'... A lot of mosquitoes. If u are looking for the traditional candlelight, this is not the one... Staffs over there expect tips... They fail to give us the receipt and change. Upon confrontation, they told us no change. What a reply!!! Pool : Pool bar great. Enjoyed ourselves and have a great swim. Have a lot of photo taking over there. Beach : Black sand... cos of the construction works at the side. Prefer to go down further. Clean sand and more activities. Spa : Relax and painful too... At the end, my whole body feels so relaxed... Staffs : Friendly Come again : YES !!! Hope you guys find this useful. |
