Comments: Hi there: I was writing to inquire if anyone from your family would consider hosting a Chinese high school exchange student for the 2011-2012 school year. Our organization, Forte International Exchange Association (FIEA) is a non-profit, that is designated by the State Department to be engaged in student exchange programs. FIEA students come to study abroad in the U.S. for one academic year (10 months). Host families are expected to provide a loving and caring environment, while providing support, guidance and love to the student. Families who have finished hosting always rave about what a rewarding experience it has been for everyone in the family. From the lasting bonds that have formed to experiencing another country’s culture in your own home, most families always gain cultural awareness from their exchange student. In the past, families with adopted children from China, have hosted FIEA exchange students. By hosting a Chinese student, you are able to immerse your child with the culture and language of their native country. Exchange students are always eager to share their culture and customs with their host families. If you know of a family who would be interested in hosting, please forward them this e-mail. Hosting a Chinese student would be a great experience for families to get to know first hand, the culture of China. For more information and to view our students’ profiles, please feel free to visit our website: http://www.forteexchange.org Sincerely, Chris Lin Program Manager Forte International Exchange Association 7115 Leesburg Pike Suite 217 Falls Church, VA 22043 Tel: 703-237-1688 Fax: 703-237-0889

Comments: I love Cole's sweet story. We have a New Day baby as well. Our Lillian came home on Christmas day. She was our precious blessing from God. She left New Day just days before Cole. We too are so blessed to have had our child receive love from the New Day staff. -Heather

Comments: Hi Andrea -
I am not really sure how I linked to your website about Cole, but lucky for me I did. He is wonderful - how blessed you all are. We are waiting for out TA so we can travel and bring home our 2 year old boy Benjamin from Baotou. I was wondering if I could email you with some questions I have - everything from adjusting with a 2 year old, to your experience at the Victory hotel.
I promise it won't be to many questions -
Thanks,
Mimi

I already loved Jesse/Cole!!! I just happened upon a website, recognized Cole's photo, and the website led me to yours. I got to know little Jesse when I visited friends at New Day for 3 weeks in April-May of 2007. I've followed the New Day babies' stories since...imagine my surprise and joy to see "the rest of the story" for Cole. So very happy for you!!! G. Brown

Comments: Cole is the most precious little boy. Your sister has done an awesome job capturing your trip on film. We have two girls from China but I'm thinking there is a boy in our future. We had Mary as our guide in Jiangxi about a month before you. Welcome home! -Andrea (AWAA)
