Comments: My dad, Raymond M. LeCount was in the 76th as an SSG. He died in 96 and I was always sorry he never made it to any of the reunions. But as a vet myself, I guess I understand. He never spoke of the war until about the last year of his life. I'm 58 now and I still sure do miss my dad.

Comments: My first cousin, Warren D. Libert served with the 3rd Army, 76th Division, 364th F.A. Btry A as a Corporal. He was killed (GSW-chest) estimated March 30, 1945. Captain John S. Handel identified him as his dog tags were not on his person. I have tried to find Captain Handel with no luck. I am seeking anyone who may have been part of his Field Artillery division or who may have know him. Some of his personal effects were apparently never recovered- his diary, pictures of his buddies and family letters. He was orginally from Louisville, Ky.
