BUBBA GRIZ, Cuddle Fluff series. I am looking of for Bubba Griz. One March 19, 2013 we lost our home to a fire. I was the only one home, praise God, and when I ran out of the house I picked up 4 things, my husbands precious guitar and 3 bears (I thought I had Bubba Griz, Bubba Remis and Red Lovie B Bear). However, I found out I didn't have Bubba Griz and I was unable to run back into the house and try to save him. Our 9 year old has had Bubba Griz & Bubba Remis since he was 2 months old and we have carried them with us everywhere since. These bears have brought him comfort in some trying times including numerous hospital stays (thankfully he is better now, but we've almost lost our son 3 times in his short life the last time a year and a half ago). IF ANYONE HAS BUBBA GRIZ PLEASE, PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU ARE WILLING TO SELL HIM. I promise he would go to a good home to a little boy who desperately wants him. Can you give a description of the bear itself, apart from what it says on his tag. (I'm assuming you gave the info that was on the sewn-in tag on the back of the bear and not from a paper hang tag that came on it.) There was a Devin Fallsbeary who wore a brown or olive green romper and a sweater in Fall colors and a girl named Devon wearing a dress with a white collar and bow on her ear. Someone may be more able to help you if you can give more info including the height in inches and color of the plush and any clothing.

I am looking for a bear for The Boyds Bear Collection LTD. His tag says 1988 - 2002, Reg NO PA # 1364 (CN), Devon EX14 4LE UK # 3809052. I have a special needs son who has had this bear for over 10 years and he absolutely loves him. But like any toy, the love they receive makes them worn. I have 2 longaberger basket festival baskets. 1 from 2008 and 1 from 2009.....Anyone have an idea of the value ? I just have too many collectibles....need to downsize..... and need to know their worth. I am looking for the name of a Boyds collection 1985-98 JB Bean Series. I think it is a 1364 series. It is a cat that appears to be dark blue and cream with cream sock feet, cream belly and cream mouth. It is probably 16" in height. Green eyes. It has a kind of brownish red ribbon on it. I have searched the internet and can't find him. I think he is just adorable and would really like to know more about him.

How nice to see Barb and Rose T posting on here again. I often think about you gals and miss hearing how you are doing. Barb, I have my Annual check up at Roswell on Friday, and always think about you as we pass your hospital. Always such a surprise to see all the progress going on down in the area. When I first started going to Roswell the second and third floor were like in entirely different buildings. What a long way that hospital has come. Hope you get to see the "grands" as often as you can. Rose, I am SURE that you are still traveling here or there every chance you get. LOL!

I work for an auction company and our upcoming sale features an incredible amount of Boyds Bears plush and resins. The sale will be a live auction held via Proxibid and in our gallery in Virginia. I have finished my preliminary inventory of our collection of Boyd's resin figures, and the total is roughly 850 pieces. Most are in mint condition with COA and original boxes. As I was doing this project, I enjoyed viewing and handling each piece, sometimes reflecting the moments Mom and I shopped for them together. While I wish I could keep them all, it truly is a space issue, and I have a greater passion for a different display theme (basset hounds), and it is a shame this wonderful items are not getting the love and enjoyment they deserve. I have 35 tubs of figures, and a file which has a card for each piece, noting name, ID number, edition and tub location. From that file, I am going to create another file to cross reference according to theme. For example, I will group cards for all the bearstones, and then keep that list in numeric order, and so on for the folkstones, wee folkstones, carvers, etc. I gave some pieces away as special gifts to special friends, and this gifts delighted the recipients. The friend to whim I gave the fishing theme ones just had his first grandson. He was so in awe of the detail and humor of these figures. Anyway, I am still working on the project, and I am open to communication.
